Love the LE, I was lucky to pick up a set of side decals for the back-box of the LE when they had them for sale

What about the ramps, you said those were improved?
Quoted from Thunderbird:Like I said, we’d have to pull the tops to see the differences. Your topper sure does look awesome! Wish Stern would at least do another run of the villain topper.
I wonder if we could get Franchi to print some of those Bat Gadget side art blades?
Quoted from Mogg:What about the ramps, you said those were improved?
You can clearly see the subpar cabinet pre 2019 from the posted photos. However, in order to show all the other subtle differences, there would need to be quite a bit of work to go through machines and mark out with pre 2019 and post 2019 differences. Was not able to even get good enough photos without a tear down, to clearly show newer engineered Joker targets for example. Too much has to be stripped away to see what Stern has done. I could clearly see everything when I completely stripped my tables to install PF protectors. Should have photo documented it at the time, but did not think of it. I’m not motivated to do all that work, as there is no benefit for a game that has been archived. I only presented what I’ve learned, since some were saying Batman plays clunky, which is not true of post 2019 models, that Stern fixed after lots of complaints and many years of building Batman.

Nice Costco mats

Love them, definitely need them while playing pinball
Quoted from docquest:Another fun list is the thread with pics of some of the 120 Bat-Gadget LE machine plaques.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/batman-66-le-episode-and-gadget-list
Franchi created art representing 120 unique bat gadgets from the show to be used on 120 of the 240 LE machines. There were also 120 episode themed plaques for the rest of the LE's, but the art on those wasn't Franchi and not as inspired. I wonder who has the "Instant Bat Ray Alphabet Soup Dryer"?
I've bugged Franchi multiple times about making a poster print showcasing all 120 gadgets so everyone could appreciate all the cool gadgets he drew.
The closest he came was making a set of art blades that had many (but not all) of the gadgets. I think he only made 4 or 5 sets of these.
Maybe if more of us bug him about it, he'll finally release something that shows all 120 gadgets (and their wacky names too) in their full glory. I think if he sold a limited set of signed bat gadet prints at TPF, they'd sell very well.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
This is not true, Doc. I did the art for the gadgets myself. I had VERY little time to execute 120 gadget drawings, and had to invent some as they were only mentioned on the show, but not shown. Due to the limited time, they may not have been illustrated to a polish you feel is my standard, but I did the best I could in the time I had.

I am definitely in 100% if you do make a Translite or poster of the Batman gadgets

I’d be in for translite and artblades too, if possible. You did such a great job on the whole art package.

Man your lucky. You can get them in the EU but shipping is insanely high. I had a friend look into it for me. Shipping and feed to him was way more than one decal, let alone shipping to me on top of it. So no batgirl for me.
I was having an issue where on a full orbit the ball would hit the left slingshot instead of the left flipper. I tried to think of what I could do because the ball guide had no extra room to move. I added a small piece of thick tape that was maybe a tenth of a mm thick. The ball was now hitting the right flipper instead so that was no good either. I then added a regular piece of scotch tape with a small piece of paper folded in half. It now works as I wanted to hitting the left flipper.
It’s amazing that such a small adjustment could make such a huge impact.

Quoted from RobW:Here is the underside...
Looks like the targets are the same to me.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
They’re definitely not the same. Pulling the top would prove that, but I’m not going to pull the top on the old and the new to prove it. I don’t care that much about it, lol.
Any idea where I can get a new Penguin hole protector? Mine is shot. Sent a note to Cliffy but haven’t heard back yet

Yeah what he said.
Would look great on an LE to have Batgirl on one side and Catwoman on the other.

What did I get wrong? I know you did the all gadget art on the 120 gadget plaques and they look fantastic. But I wish Stern gave you time to also put your art on the 120 episode plaques instead of the generic comic art they used for those.
Sometime artists seem to be their own worst credits. All the gadgets I've seen look amazing. You did an awesome job!
Too bad the gadget art also didn't get used in the final code. Would have great to show a random gadget on the LCD everytime you used one via the gadget button.
Quoted from HansM:I'm not verified so I share my gadget and card here:
#15 Bat phone

Perhaps someone would be kind enough to complete a high resolution scan of the catwoman backbox side art, so we may repriduce it ourselves... for that those of us who prefer looking at Julie Newmar rather than Burt Ward in his underware.

I'd take Julie Newmar for the win any day of the week!
Quoted from tk375:Just out of curiosity. Does any one know what this Bat-Gauge was used for? Or on what episode it was showed?
[quoted image]
In Season 1 episode 2 “Smack in the Middle” Batman uses the Bat Gauge as a detector to locate where or what wall to blow up to rescue Robin! I guess it was a detector to locate Robin! Batman uses the Bat-Gauge then places a bomb in that spot, he then uses his awesome laser gun to lit the bomb!
It’s about 13 minutes into the episode

For those that have the clone topper..... I currently have mine set to turn on with an insert light with a sensor. This means that in attract mode the topper light is on and spinning the entire time. Is there a way to have this powered from a source that would only come on when you start a game?
Quoted from thundergod76:You don't want the topper on in attract mode??
The light just keeps spinning and is noisy.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:Not pin related, but I unboxed my Jazzinc 1/6 Batmobile. Here’s a video I did.
so happy I was able to get on the waitlist and finally got an email to lock in on a Batmobile! can't wait to get it on June
I’ve tried searching this thread…but with 5k posts makes it difficult…does anyone have a pic of the turntable from underneath so I can verify how the wiring is supposed to be routed? My motor screws were loose and upon investigation the wiring protection mesh is frayed behind belief and was really tight. Any help with underneath pics would be awesome.

Anyone know if you can buy a “bat gadget selector “ decal . Mine did not make it trying to move to a new lockbar
Quoted from MachineGunGuy:Picked up a replica of the SLE Topper for my Batman 66. I am extremely happy with it.

Thanks Tony Glad you are enjoying those!
Just can't get enough of this game. Lyman, wherever you are, i'm eternally grateful for this absolute masterpiece.
Also very much wondering what the next Kapow release might be. EHOH and Batman 66 are my two all-time faves.
Can someone point me to video or explain how to adjust my crane that is misaligned. I moved the adjustment tabs as much as they allow but still way out of alignment.
Thanks

If you haven't done so already go to the service menu and set the Penguin Lag Adjustment setting to zero and power cycle the machine.
Quoted from mrs_mezelmods:Thanks Tony Glad you are enjoying those!
We really are! Showed my wife before I bought them and my wife said “Get them!”
Quoted from L2CL2C:Could you tell me where you got these figurines and what brand they are?
Thanks
I’m also interested to know where to get the smaller figures. The ones from McFarlane are a bit too big. Here is my Catwoman mod.

Never mind...found....ordered
After 6 1/2 years in play the lockbar decals from my SLE are almost gone.
Cause of the reason the game is out of production you can‘t order that decals anymore.
So I started to do my 1 : 1 run of them.
Graphics are set and the color matching foil is ordered.
Looking forward to a perfect SLE game again next week.
