No cuz I think the Bat logo would block too much light. But I do think they're a nice idea. When I did my sling spots I wanted maximum brightness. Here's my old post for those curious.

That is what I am worried about it blocking light also. I put in three spot lights and through lighting from comet pinball. I didn’t care for opmax either so I swapped out the white GI lights for frosted ones and put the factory stern ones in the spotlights and definitely a nice improvement.

When does the magnet in front of the turn table activate?

I notice it sometimes kicks on when hitting joker letters. Otherwise it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Is it supposed to hold the ball every time you answer the phone? Anything when the bat car spinner is out?

Anyone buy the Flipper Fidelity backbox light kit? I bought Cointakers kit for GOTG and liked it but the price for that kit is crazy high for BM66 at $299, Flipper Fidelity is at $145.

No it’s not hard at all, very easy to install! It bends very easy to the curves!

All three arrived yesterday. Now just waiting on Joker, Batman, Catwoman, and Batgirl to arrive. Really happy with the quality thus far. Sculpts and paint application is really good for an ornament. May pick up batcopter also.

Love getting a new pin and adding new mods to it. Catwoman and Joker definitely are pricey now though. Got penguin for $17 shipped, can’t say that for Catwoman and Joker.

My Batman is currently hanging out at my coworker's house. Talked to him today and he thinks he's found a bug that I'm a little skeptical of but thought I'd check here on.

He says that in two player games (never single player) the turntable is not attempting to turn to the batphone once a major villain is qualified and the phone starts ringing. He says *sometimes* it does, but frequently it does not. He also said that every time the turntable has failed to turn the batphone to the player has been during a 2 player game. My gut says coincidence, but wanted to see if anybody else has had a similar experience.

That being said, does anyone know of any common culprits for the turntable not spinning to batphone position? Turntable works well most of the time and also does well during test mode. Running the latest released code.

Has anybody removed the Mod Couple “Gotham City Sewer” magnet protector from a machine before? Mine is getting to be pretty chewed up and probably due for replacement, but removal looks like it might be a little sketchy. Afraid of damaging the artwork under the Mylar by trying to remove it.

Does anyone have an idea where I can find the full Cliffy set for a BM66? Preferably in Europe?
I do know the initial website passionforpinball.com, but no one seem to answer emails...I tried both: [email protected] as well as [email protected] with no success.
Any Idea who still could have a full set for sale?

A few options for you. Try using a hair dryer to heat up the glue to remove it. Just put it at low blow speed and move it back and forth. Hopefully will make the adhesive tacky. Also isopropyl alcohol helps or windex but don’t want it seeping down below the playfield.

And lastly keyboard cleaner spray with compressed air works. You turn it upside down and spray underneath the the magnet protector.

The compressed air coming out will be very cold, like Freon so be careful. I used this technique to take off old mylar from a Stellar Wars. Worked the best for me but that Mylar was on for decades. Try hair dryer first. Then use isopropyl alcohol or windex to get any residue off.

Here are a few pics for the placement of my characters on the playfield. My Catwomen lights up the diamond. I also replaced the plastic cats with some 3D printed ones. I was lucky enough to get a Villains topper when they came out and i added the Stern bat signal to it. I had my side rails custom pin stripped.

Picked up 1/4” pinstripping and that’s going on also. And pinwoofer kit arrives on my birthday on the 17th. So glad I picked this up last month. Awesome theme and pin! Born in 1971 and a fan for decades, as is my wife, and my youngest daughter.

Correct. Now try to find a person that can apply metal flake consistently. I had no luck getting my Batman done properly. Nor did I have any luck with my Elvira 40th, direct from Stern, with it being one of the many victims of “glittergate” as reported here on Pinside. Batman and Elvira, both, exhibited different amounts of sparkle on each piece — ranging from way too much to almost nothing at all. I ended up having Batman completely redone in a different color. Should I someday stumble upon a wizard at metal flake, I’ll likely give Batman yet another try. $$$$

Thank you! Those are not Biglaws. They were already there when I got it.

For Riddler I used double sided tape. For Penguin, Joker, Robin, and Batgirl I used glue dots. Batman and Catwoman I bought 0.041 lock wire from Harbor Freight to mount them. I used E6000 to secure the wire to them. Made a loop in the wire and used the screw already there to mount it.

Steve HemiOrange09 also did mine and it’s soooo beautiful I love it! I highly recommend him for the SLE/LE Batman look

It finally arrived today. Immediately has become my fav machine. Absolutely amazing!

What’s the story behind these art blades? Where they designed by Franchi? Art work looks to be the same, they were very limited run and then sold out! I also heard that these blades were supposed to be installed in the SLE as an exclusive art but something got mixed up and they used the blades you can still buy now! I don’t know how true or even if it is true but it’s interesting.
