Sounds like they're holding out to get a good batch before shipping..anyone know offhand when the last batch arrived? Sounds like I might be in the next round if April orders are shipping, though by those timelines would look like maybe another container in June or July?

What’s the story with the new playfields?

What is the latest ea number delivered to a customer? I heard 118 but this thread says its 106

2 issues so far.

1. Vuk to upper playfield ball sometimes gets stuck on entry switch.

Need to remove building and investigate

2. Bowling alley limit switches not consistent.

Removed the bowling alley and with some precision bending I got it working pretty good. Though it's not the best design it would have been great if it used optos instead. I feel it will fail again

All in all very stoked. Way more exciting than the 2 sterns I got over the last several months. Most exciting pin I've received in years.

This also happened to me. Once.

was a very simple fix. The wire on the switch just needed to be bent inward a bit. The end of the wire was getting hung up on the playfield inside the slot. bent it back and it's now working 100%. Bowling alley is a little off. not ready right switch closed when far left. It's a very touchy switch. I better order more before I get the pliers out.

Service faq page 45 tells you which switches should be actie in which position

Understand how it works, but it's difficult to actually get it to work. At the far left position it's difficult to get the switch to click. Thinking of boring out the holes in the switch itself so I can move it left a bit

Deposit 4/29/22, final invoice today 4/3/23. 3-4 months til I see a machine I’m guessing.

I ordered 7/23/22 so prob have 3 months to pay so about 6 total. When I ordered it said 9 months to receive so that was very wrong.

Edit....and having all the upgraded parts and hopefully better playfield. Worth the wait IMO.

So true, I am glad to get the updated playfield with the art pushed out from the post and updated scoop mech. Also bought all my mods now so will have those on day 1. I will be able to add those before I put the game into the gameroom where I will have more room to work on the game.

Seems kind of odd from the perspective that if someone ordered a TBL and changed their mind, Cointaker would give them their money back in a heartbeat. TBL deposits are fully refundable any day of the week. I would just get your name in the hat and wait it out the old fashion way. Not fun by any means but gives you plenty of time to make sure it’s really a $14k purchase you can’t live without.

Deposits on games are not refunded per Cointaker's policy on their website (https://cointaker.com/p/return-policy) and Melissa confirmed when I asked her last month.

Not sure I follow your logic here. If Cointaker will allow him to take someone else’s spot, why wouldn’t he want to do that and cut down on his wait?

It would seem unethical on Cointakers behalf to allow someone to cut in line by taking another customers spot. Have you ever stood in line at an amusement park? Someone decides they don’t want to ride they leave and everyone behind them moves up a spot.

It’s a waiting list, not a pre order spot for a Limited Edition that there will only be a certain amount produced. That’s my logic and from a business perspective that would only be fair for all those who have been waiting a year or longer. I really don’t care, I’ve already paid in full and am on the home stretch but if I was ever made aware of someone coming from the back of the line to the front it would piss me off and quite a few others. I don’t get paid enough to sit in these forums and bitch back and forth so conversation over, you won’t change my opinion on the matter either way.

I’ve gotten my deposit back from Melissa on this exact machine before. This is round 2 for me. I almost got my deposit back on Alien LV for the runaround I’d been given for months. I’ll get my deposit back on Queen Rhapsody as well if things go south on that deal.

That's one way of looking at it, though in the amusement park scenario it's generally one guy trying to hold a spot in line for a bunch of his friends as opposed to a spot-holder swapping out with someone at the last minute. Alternately, you could view it as you were behind one guy in line, he gave his spot to someone else, and now you're behind that guy instead. Your situation has not changed -- it's not like he invited a group of his friends to join him in the line ahead of you.

I only clicked on this forum topic to share my order timeline and compare it to others. It’s unfortunate from a consumer’s perspective for one distributor to have exclusive access to Dutch Pinball products. There’s no concern about “burning any bridges” with a distributor, as if they are doing me a favor by allowing me to buy a pinball machine from them. That’s the mentality that only exists with certain manufacturers and needs to end. You can order a NIB Stern machine off Amazon with 5% cash back if you use their Chase card.

I know Pinball Brothers are trying to resolve this same issue by gaining other distributors and not give CT a monopoly on the US market. If not for the purpose of competitive pricing then potentially for a better customer service experience. I commend PB for this and can only be of help to us, the lucky ones with tens of thousands to blow on toys!!

I want rugs for all my games now. Odd nobody is doing those. Seems like a great business. Pinball just plays and slides better on rugs. Looks awesome too

I'd be interested in knowing the time frame, when you get them. I wanted those plexi art blades for TBL myself, but wanted to get a feel for the expected time.
