For those who paid their invoice, were you charged sales tax? The cointaker website makes it sound like it's $13,500 delivered, but I had to pay PA sales tax.

I live in a state where there is no sales tax. I can’t really be of much help.

No tax in Ohio. I think they are based in pa so prob why.

Straight from PA.gov:

"A business is required to collect Pennsylvania sales tax when it maintains inventory in Pennsylvania and makes direct sales to Pennsylvania customers through a website, phone orders or any other means."

Bummer. An extra $810 just because I live in PA.

Not their fault, it’s the law. They almost certainly have to collect sales tax for some other states too if the do enough sales there (a 2018 Supreme Court case opened the floodgates for cross-border sales tax collection, you probably noticed the difference if you shop online much).

Not blaming them. I understand it is what it is. Just venting a little, I suppose.

I hear you, extra grand for the tax man is rarely a good feeling!

I would agree this is pretty accurate. I think my 4 month wait was something of an outlier.

Kinda wonder if something strange happened with yours, eh? Haven't seen anyone else getting there's right now too. I mean, I can kinda see cointaker losing a 400lb pin for a couple months at this point,.lol. Bet it was under a pile of invoices somewhere.

I too am at 4 months. Delivery imminent. From what I was told, the issue with chipping playfields was the hold up. They were waiting for new playfields to come in without the issue.

Now back to refreshing the FedEx tracking page.

You are the 2nd person who I have seen post here that ordered later then me and has posted receiving an invoice.
My order was placed 5/22/2022 and still no invoice.

Exactly why DP needs another distributor in the US. Customer service has gone to crap at CT. Competition would help solve this.

Yup. And looks like I'm the second one invoiced a year to the day recently, which suggests CT is billing based on arbitrary time rather than "we got notice of this many coming in the next shipment, and are billing that number of people in order of deposit." The later would make a hell of a lot more sense, but I guess you don't have to put too much thought into how you run your biz and customer service when you're the only game in town and people are willing to put up with whatever to get the game...

Whatever. I do trust CT and Dutch will get it here eventually. And I clearly want it enough to put up with whatever :p

Same - ordered 6/6/22 and just got invoice today. Hopefully it gets delivered before winter!

Did your email change or perhaps the invoice was delivered to your spam folder?

I called Melissa today. She was out of office but was still nice enough to return my call within minutes. She said I should have received an invoice by now, so she will look into it when she is back in the office. The wait has been tough, especially with seeing other people who ordered weeks after me get their invoices. But I can't complain about the service as Melissa has been polite and very good each time I've called. Things do happen. I do suspect the wrong email address was used.

Update: Got my invoice. It was indeed sent earlier to an older obsolete email address. The invoice only has options for paying via checking or savings accounts. Since I want to use a CC that I have had set aside waiting for this, I should be getting a second invoice that has option for CC payment (for 3% additional cost). Melissa has been very helpful and very responsive to my emails these past couple days.

Out of curiosity can you get your deposit back from CT?

Some folks have said you can get a refund from CT. However, I asked Melissa a couple of months back on my TBL deposit and her response was, "We do not refund any monies, you can use towards a different title or towards parts on our website. It is stated on our pages for returns/refunds"

Interesting. I've heard different but was curious if others asked for a refund and got one. The proccess of getting a TBL is not for the faint of heart and im sure The dude would not appove.

I ordered in Oct of 2022 and found a local game.

I got my deposit back from CT with no hassle but they did deduct PayPal fees. 30 bucks.

11 weeks since invoiced/paid for the full amount. Not going to waste my time emailing anyone about it yet. I’ve already been down that road before and it wasn’t beneficial. If anything it just added to the frustration. Thankfully the weather here is nice and not really what most would consider “pinball season”. If no delivery before the rain and gloom of the PNW sets in this fall, then I’ll start making some calls.

Inquired on status of TBL deliveries. Was told “a month” to my delivery.
