Speaking of Christmas… what tools should I be picking up to maintain this guy when it arrives? I’m assuming some of the bolts and such are metric?

The service FAQ is a great resource, and worth reading ahead of time. there is a section early on where Rens highlights some tools that you need for the machine (torx drivers and metric nut hollow point drivers IIRC). Add to that a plain colored towel to drape over the bowling alley every time you work on the underside (dropping parts into the bowling alley is extremely painful)

Thanks. It’s page 11 of the service faq where you will find the following text
When working on your TBL the following ‘special’ tools (compared to a Stern/BW pinball for
instance) are likely needed:
• Metric nutdrivers and-or wrenches size 5 ; 5,5 ; 7 ; 8 ; 10 mm
• Torx drivers size TX6 ; TX8 ; TX10 ; TX15 ; TX20 ; TX30
• Metric Allen keys M2,5 ; M4
Of course, this is besides the usual tools like screwdrivers, pliers, etc.

I have four legit Brunswick Max pins left for sale to make a topper. Really difficult to get these. Took me days to track some down a months to get them. They are new.
2 for $80 plus postage ($150 for four) Close states near Ohio Priority mail is around $15-18 for two pins. They are heavy. I’ll email you a quote.
Prefer not to sell three unless someone just needs one. Pm me.
*They were shipped in a box touching each other so may have a few minor marks nothing crazy.

Quoted from wcbrandes:Rensh perhaps you can give us the numbers on line for the EAs since its Christmas and all! Want to see if my calendar is still on track, or Dutch has sped up or slowed down on tha achievers and their games Merry Christmas all !
My EA#111 Will be ready next week.
Quoted from pascal-pinball:My EA#111 Will be ready next week.
That’s great news!!!
On a sidenote are any of you guys running shooter lane protectors?
Quoted from pascal-pinball:My EA#111 Will be ready next week.
Oh my if this is true then Barry has really put the pedal to the medal for the early achievers!
I checked this as my last number was 108 I believe and 111 was for next month schedule.
It appears that there was some extra capacity and as they were busy with an European batch anyway and 111 being an European EA was very close they pulled this one a couple of weeks forward.
And yes, there is a (very) great desire to wrap this up in 2023.
Quoted from Rensh:And yes, there is a (very) great desire to wrap this up in 2023.
This would be huge, hope DP can pull it off.

Would this be just the EAs, or TBL production and game #2 coming?
Quoted from Billygrippo:If pulp fiction isn’t being made by cgc, then Dutch should make it!!
Dutch pinball is the only company that could pull off Pulp Fiction.
Star post repair successful! Pretty easy actually. Fully protected now. I only had the upper right sling post effected. I’m wondering if that post wasn’t slightly loose and the movement aided in the pooling. Retightened everything. Used PinMonk mylar rings and Titan rubber Star post protectors. Seems pretty bomb proof now.

Wrap up refers to EA only.
Yeah, I definitely hope Barry and the team have another great theme in the works, once everyone gets taken care of, EA wise.

They can’t keep up with the orders they currently have…. Why would they be spending time on another title?
Quoted from brainmegaphone:They can’t keep up with the orders they currently have…. Why would they be spending time on another title?
Because at some point, the TBL run WILL end. It has to. And I'm sure Dutch has no desire to just be done, after TBL, so like any pinball company with a semblance of desire for success, they have to be be thinking in the present, AND in the future. If EA orders are finally wrapped up in 2023, that means the 'cloud' is finally gone, and the company can move forward.
Just wanted to share with everyone that EA101 was happily received yesterday, after 8+ years!
Ordered and paid for on October 3, 2014

This is the Sideshow "Exclusive" version with the joint.
I've got a spare, MIB - $200 shipped (domestic U.S., Int'l shipping will be more). they sell for $250.
(Pic with the BL Bluray box w/Bowling bag is not included, but shows the dude on display)
PM me if you're interested.

There was a point back when I really didn't (~5 years ago), but this forum definitely kept my hopes up. Thanks!

Well i do give lots of props, not that they are worth anything, but they stuck this out, when DP could have just given up and said we tried...
Also to the EA buyers who made this all happen and looks like ya'll will be made whole. Gotta love it!
Oh, and Ive still never seen one in real life! If someone lives in the Phoenix area and has one of these I'm begging you to come let me play lol
Quoted from BrianMadden:Jamestx did Dutch reach out to you, or Cointaker, or did you have to contact them to request yours? I'm EA 97, also paid in full in Oct 2014, but I haven't heard anything about mine. So I'm wondering what the process is?
Either way, hopefully I'm close!! And congrats!
Cointaker was who called me the week before the delivery to let me know they'd received my machine and to get my payment for delivery. I'd try emailing Dutch if I were you to see if your EA97 was shipped to Cointaker or is still in transit. Hope you get yours soon too!
I don’t have sight on what exactly has shipped but it makes good sense that if 101 is in the US also 97 is in the US
I would call Melissa and check your spambox first.
Over a week ago DP was still trying to get response from EA numbers
85
87
92

96
They are already at CT but no response from the original buyers. Can be CT already traced them down as this list is almost two weeks old. But, if you know by chance one of the owners let them know something is waiting for them
Every week I email cointaker, and every week they tell me I’ll get a shipping notification the next day, and it never happens. Sigh.
Going on two months since I paid my invoice I think. Man… the wait is killing me.

Give Melissa a call. I always find a call yields better results than an email!
Waiting (im)patiently on my end as well! Hope we both are rewarded soon.
oh wow. mine was 3/29. I was hoping for a few more weeks and maybe spend my feb birthday money. exciting!
Quoted from madamyates:Got the final invoice today! Deposit paid on 4/7/22.
I paid my deposit on 4/29/22..that’s good news. I’m not a fan of the 2 1/2 month wait after full payment though.

Sadly, invoice and shipping seem to be a wee bit apart. Patience I keep saying....

Totally. I’m fine with baby steps.
Having Chris Royalty doing the copper plating. Ordered wire forms and the starry apron ahead of time. Paid our deposit on 4/15/22 so should hear from Melissa any day!

Looks like your long wait resulted in a poor playfield…hopefully you can iron them out…

Not sure about that, I haven’t seen a game numbered in the 700 serial number range with pooling only 600 range and below (unless I missed one here). It seems like affected games were produced before the summer of 2022.. Before the start of TS4 production. TS4 at this point does not appear to be having playfield issues, so the question is did Mirco change something with his process at or around the time the production started on TS4? and if so it would make sense that TBL playfield process would’ve changed as well... again if I have missed playfields with pooling with serial numbers in the 700 range then I am mistaken on this. My game is in the high 700 range made at the end of 2022 and looks fine at this point, I will post on the owners thread if that changes.
Mine is 753 and have pooling and a chip. August 11, 2022 build.

Hopefully he has no issues, or can get some protection on to prevent it.

.
First game of the later builds I’ve heard of with issues, I stand corrected. Will be interested to see what DP will offer as a remedy/solution for people with affected games.
I have an October 2022 build and don’t have any issues so far but haven’t played it too much. I also took the precautionary approach and put mylar and washers on under the posts.

I also haven't noticed any playfield pooling issues with the machine I just received last week. Did have to adjust a stuck switch on the lock light, but that was an easy fix and seems to be a common problem.
