Yeah I've often wondered the same thing; with Jetsons, Dominos (+ others?) Spooky has managed to do several games with very small runs. I think it's amazing that they pull it off, especially since none of them seem half-assed. Thanks for sharing the video! I'd been curious to see this game. Both of those games were contracted out afaik. Domino's and The Pinball Company bankrolled those two games.

I feel like I hit that Domino lane perfectly and sometimes the ball comes to a dead stop and falls down into the shooter lane. It clunks like it's running into something, but there's nothing there. My machine does this, and it’s very frustrating. I can’t imagine it’s intended to do that, so was curious if anyone else has had this issue and if so, what may have been done to correct it?

Is that a new playfield or did you paint and clear coat the original? Looks awesome! Going over these posts have inspired me to do a restoration on a Domino I just picked up. I got the game to play but now I need to deal with a moldy and mildewy cabinet. Alberto It’s a reproduction playfield that was produced by Wade Krause a few years ago. Good luck with your Domino, Alberto!

Best way to clean a mildewy/moldy cabinet Post #1 in topic

Posted over 4 years ago by Peruman – in Restoration questions ‐ Last reply over 4 years ago

I’m starting my first full restoration on a Domino I picked up a couple weeks ago. It was in a boarded up bus station for quite some time. From this, there is some mildew (perhaps mood) in the cabinet and head. My question is, what is the best way to get rid of the mold and mildew before I Kilz and paint the inside of the cabinet? Also, once I get to the outside of the cabinet, what is the best chemical stripper to use? Thanks!

It looks like I am missing a bell on the Domino. My 0-9 Unit has an apparent clapper on the bottom but no bell. A couple of images online show it (this one from PinballMD which appears to be down right now) https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.5I0i56g4DVmIeTCs9emueAHaNK?pid=Api&rs=1 This video shows one with a bell (at the 8:00 mark) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyuKoVb-hgs My picture below....Anyone know what size bell it might be and what it is for? Actually, it’s not a bad pizza. Kinda of on the lighter side. Used to order Dominos thin crust veggie with extra sauce, no cheese. Kinda like Marco’s pizza now. Domino’s pizza is now cooked at 450 degrees and amazingly it STILL tastes similar to Digiornos.

My Domino rotating target is pretty hammered, I can't tell what numbers are where. Starting at the star and going clockwise, can anyone confirm the numbers? I show: Star 4 3 5 1 2 3 4 3 1 5 3 1 4 2 however I dont see any 6's and most of these are really iffy, based on the shadow of the previous owners sharpie [att=5662238,1999586 caption=""]

No score on domino Post #1 in topic

Posted over 4 years ago by mark532011 – in EM Pinball Hangout ‐ Last reply over 4 years ago

I picked up a gottlieb domino and have a strange problem. It starts a game normally, resets all score reels to zero. But nothing will score. If I manually push the ones, tens, hundreds and thousands relay, they all stay locked and I get no bell or score reel movement. That all 4 relays do the same thing implies it’s not in the relays or their score reels. Plus the score reels reset to zero just fine at game start. Any idea where I should look?

Will pinball prices come down Post #211 in topic

Posted over 4 years ago by Tranquilize – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply over 4 years ago

This is just the same response as the stock market. No one truly realizes or wants to realize that we have record unemployment and a massive domino effect will surface after the dust settles. This is 100% going to happen. Yes, some rich guys won't be affected, but 90% of the middle class will be losing wealth because of direct or indirect relationships to covid. Trust me. Prices will come down... on everything, especially luxury items. Even Stern will have trouble surviving this.
