  I recently replaced my Jokerz plastics and now have no use for the old ones. I'd hate to throw them away. Anyone want them? All I'd ask for is whatever it costs me to mail it off.   My 1st game was an $800 F-14 Tomcat. Now it would be hard to find one for a couple grand. Maybe even 10k by Christmas. The last game I bought was GoT NIB. That’s an easy 10k game and it’s not even Christmas My first game was a $600 Jokerz! It was a really nice example. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen another one that nice. Probably a $3k game today.

  Suggestions on the next title welcome. Jokerz looks cool. I would love a High Speed. I only have 13-15 games on Jokerz, but I saw it has a second tier title in the System 11 family. High Speed is fun, Taxi, Whirlwind, and Swords of Fury are all significantly better than Jokerz, in my opinion. Diner is also good. Space Station is somewhat one dimensional but I would rate it ahead of Jokerz among the second tier group of games (the tiers in my head, of course). I'd avoid Big Guns.

  As an example...I have a Gottlieb Big Hurt (Baseball theme) for sale in the marketplace - 2850/obo. It's a 1990s DMD game for under $3k with a packed playfield, 3 flippers and lots of shots. Other than that...I used to have Jokerz and liked that game a lot too (Poker theme with upper playfield). Probably in the $2k price range. Good luck to you!

  Oh, and I was unaware SB had Jokerz. I'll need to try it out. The last time I was at CP Pinball, there was a Jokerz in the back getting worked on. Sounds like this game is getting trendy (or simply just my wish that it goes up in value...). Wow, looks like it is going to be great! I went years without seeing a Jokerz anywhere so having a few locally is a treat. Maybe not a good game for tournaments, but I think it is very fun.

  I’m heading back on a 1560 mile round-trip pin-haul picking up four pins from two locations. Nestled in the back of that U-Haul is it fully restored custom Tommy (thanks @jjsmooth) and fully shopped very nice originals of Hurricane, BSD and Jokerz (@jimmyhonda).   I have several of their rectifier boards in my early Ballys. And one solenoid driver board. And a MPU for my Jokerz! machine. No problems with them. And they all are several years old. We'll see how they hold up over time.

  Hi all! Experiencing an issue where when I lock a ball, it immediately kicks the ball back out and puts a new ball down the lane to play. If I manage to hit the ramp again, and then “lock” two balls it puts me in ‘Jokerz! Wild! Mode” and I can begin to play for the jackpot…. Any idea what would cause this? Or how to fix? :/

  I am not super familiar with taxi, but some pins have a stacked switch on the flipper buttons that controls the lane change. Some pins only the right flipper is used for lane change… The #taxi manual from IPDB shows the circuit for both buttons on the cabinet wiring page. But there is no schematic in that manual for the board so I don’t know which chip controls it. There IS a board schematic in the #jokerz manual but I still couldn’t figure it out. Good luck Skip.

  Anyone have any 1980-1990 games (pinball or arcades) they are interested in selling? F14, pinbot, cyclone, etc. Asteroids, donkey Kong, tron, orig Pac-Man Im in VA but may be headed to Richmond or WV area and could pickup. Not really close to you but I have a pretty decent jokerz and a really nice donkey Kong with the high score saves kit with deranged and remix on it. In Central NJ.   Bringing a project Charlie Angels SS , nice cab, back glass and play field but does not boot. Night Rider SS, very clean and working 100% Wizard, working and shopped with a HARDTOP separate. Jokerz, led and with HARDTOP installed. Very bright, very nice cabinet and plays 100% Pistol Poker, nice game, needs nothing. No Fear??? with new cabinet decals if I have room. Lots of boxes of stuff too.

  just talking about this yesterday on the jokerz upper ramp. several people have used small screws on this instead of the original rivets. btw pm jodiG if you need an affordable rivet tool.

  think they used locktite from the factory. i broke more of these in jokerz than any other game ive ever shopped ( about 60 } I quit taking them out of Jokerz when every one of them broke. Craziness.

  Those are called t-nuts. Like this: https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/4406-01118-00 You have to know the thread size. Probably 6-32 or 8-32, but I don't remember. You can bring it to a hardware store to find out. Buy a handful. When I redid my jokerz, I discovered that several of those posts were staked in permanently, for some damn reason. I lucked out with spares, but you can measure them and pick up some at Marcos at the same time.

  I don't know why it gets hate. I rebuilt one, and it's a great game. I would buy this in a heartbeat if it were nearby. The reason it gets hate is it is a one off. Meaning Williams tried to got stereo on this game and this game only. So if the sound board goes bad you have to find another Jokerz to replace it.

  wizstef Does that board have a Williams sticker on it with '553' somewhere? That's the game number for Taxi. If it doesn't I'd bet that's not the original board. It's not the original board, the number D12313-567 indicate that it it has been swapped with another System 11B game (567 = Jokerz!)   Tee’d Off Bally Atlantis Sorcerer (or Comet and Space Shuttle) Jokerz Just a few I used to own that should still be under 2500. All fun games. Wish I’d kept Jokerz, believe it or not. It was a very nice example.

  I think the most valuable thing you would get from a doner machine is the wiring harness. Jokerz has both the aux driver board, and the interconnect board. However just a warning, the interconnect boards were setup for each specific game. I seem to recall the circuits that had flashers on them had the big 5watt resistors.

  2010s - Ghostbusters - I love the artwork and callouts, but wish another playfield designer would have taken a crack at this. 2000s - Shrek/Family Guy - I hate the layout, and just about every random place with one pinball game has one of these. 1990s - Junkyard - Honestly it's not bad, it's just one of the Bally/Williams titles I encounter often enough in the wild and don't care for it much. I'm sure there are worse titles, but our paths don't cross often 1980s - Jokerz. It's fine.

  I am about to replace this on my Jokerz! I will follow this thread! I have a pinball repairman who sometimes helps me with problems I can't fix. He has replaced a few Jokerz upper playfields and advised buying a pop rivet set from harbor freight. It comes with the tool and a set of rivets. I haven't done this yet, but it may be an alternative to countersinking the new plastic for bolt heads and risking a crack.
