Recently picked up a taxi pinball machine, and the lane change does not work.
It is not the micro switch or any problems with the interconnect board.
My question is, what chip on the mpu board controls it.
Thanks for any help.

I am not super familiar with taxi, but some pins have a stacked switch on the flipper buttons that controls the lane change. Some pins only the right flipper is used for lane change…
You could jumper the switch wires on the board to see if you have a broken wire or switch problem. It would also test if you have board issues.

The Taxi manual from IPDB shows the circuit for both buttons on the cabinet wiring page. But there is no schematic in that manual for the board so I don’t know which chip controls it.
There IS a board schematic in the Jokerz! manual but I still couldn’t figure it out.
Good luck Skip.
No broken wires. Everything is wired correctly.
They work with another MPU.
I'm just trying to find what to change on the board

Ah, makes more sense now.
