Has anyone replaced the opto on the spinner board? Mine works from time to time so I'm thinking it needs to be replaced. There is a new board on Marco but is it necessary?

Have you cleaned it?

Also re-flow the solder joints. The solder joints for the opto sensor are known to be a source of failure.

I tried cleaning it, but I will try reflowing the solder. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I just picked up my very first pin and this is it. I got quite a deal on it, but it was completely disassembled to restore cosmetic issues with the cab and playfield. I have the basics back together minus plastics and ramps to do some basic testing and so far so good. The biggest issue I have at the moment is the original car and led wiring is gone and replaced with a little Crown Vic toy and a different LED/Cable wired up. I'm not desperate to fully restore or replace this, but I am concerned that the cable is just kind of hanging through the slot. It seems like it might get caught up on something and break pretty easily. Does anyone have detailed pictures of the way the original cable is attached and slides along with the bracket under the playfield? I do have a set of decals and I plan to paint the car I have now to get a rough approximation of the original car for now, but I might be interested in picking up a reproduction or used one if anyone has an idea of where to look. Thanks in advance!

TLDR: Does anyone have detailed pictures of the way the original cable is attached and slides along with the bracket under the playfield? And/or do you know where I can source a reproduction of the car?

Ah, I'll take a look at that. Thanks, I'm very new here and still figuring the site/forums out a bit.

Does anyone know if there's a way to source some of the game specific fasteners? There are a number of long bolt/ramp support metal pieces I'm missing. For example one of the posts from the right slingshot that supports the inlane ramp feed:

Those hex posts should be available at marco or pbl, they are according to my caliper 1.75" or about 44mm, now I haven't actually looked them up at pbl or otherwise but I suspect they are there.

They are available at Digikey too.

When I start a game, three lamps under the center ramp are on. They are the 10k, 20k, and 50k lamps. Is this an adjustable feature? I see watching Youtube vids that on other peoples games NO LAMPS are on initially when starting a game. If it is adjustable, I don't see how in the setting menu.

I think you need to increase your Millions ramp difficulty. Adjustment 39
