Having never really watched live pinball streaming before I was kind of engaged in the tournament, but left right after the “announcement” because it was so obnoxious.
You need to make the juice worth the squeeze...if you want to get more people watching live pinball you can’t put out something like this as an incentive to tune in, it’ll turn people off.

Every 24 hours of internet time is an eternity, and obviously this will be old news when the actual game is shown. But still, what was the point in this?
Stern never fails to disappoint or to blow a good opportunity, i will say that. They had to know that people would be pissed off over this. What a bunch of idiots for real!
Jesus its pinball, yeah that was horseshit but who cares we will see it all soon enough. They aren't going to spend major dollars when pinheads will buy it if its fun regardless, theres no luring in new potential customers here hence the theme. I love it but I'm 43 grew up with Maiden and a shitty teaser has not affected my excitment at all.

The problem is they got us hanging for hours today and they knew a lot of people were watching to see this. What an opportunity for them. I was please to see Jack Danger cause he is one of us and he represents us. Everytime they are revealing live action of the upcoming game from the Stern factory he's the guy who represents pinside voices. The machine is not just at Blueprint state work in process Jack said it himself : I played the whitewood version. The comedian said he saw the artwork.....well come on Stern.........share. We are the ones who will pay for these machines. What a let down......but the important thing is Iron Maiden confirmed........Stern marketing still sucks but I prefer they come up with a super cool pin than improve their selling techniques. I must admit confirming Lyman would have been a big relief. Bah more to talk in the next weeks.

The Stern approach is amazing from a Stern point of view but not from any one else’s. The real problem is they don’t see it. They seem to go with: bad publicity is better than no publicity. Thank you for wasting my Saturday evening/night.
Really happy for you guys that wanted this title. Personally I don’t think it will sell well.

I don't understand, do you honestly believe that a bad teaser will affect sales? Anyone who likes Maiden and is interested in buying this game is still interested, if any of you travelled to Texas or watched more that 10 secs of "live pinball" to get details then thats ur problem 
I'll see everything in high detail and be able to play the game within a 10 min drive in the next couple months without hardly moving, Oh man the beer and stuff is really kicking in now time to go.

Well, this has taught me not to get excited about a cool hype announcement with some cool information. If this was a way to get people engaged and watching all Saturday for cool upcoming news from stern this really really backfired. This didn’t move the needle one way or the other about getting Iron Maiden or not, but damn Stern that was poorly done.

I totally agree, but can't you just imagine how much more hype Stern would have received at such a huge event. Spooky and JJP got so much attention last weekend, Stern ,not much.

Even the one they put out for Guardians last halloween was pretty good.
Although....this one came out the day before Halloween...a teaser for the real thing. Perhaps we'll see something better Monday.
