Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:This I like
I really like the look of the green.
Quoted from Coolpinballdino:I really like the look of the green.
Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:Here ya go. I'm still feeling the red.
Unfortunately I think the problem lies deeper than the trim.
Zombie Yeti supposedly said these lo res web images are way over saturated. So maybe not as overly colorful as people fear.
Side-splash looks awesome too. Love the figs. I'm in for a Premium not an LE but even I see waaaaay more pro's than cons here with the LE.
This is fun. How about mocking up black, stainless, chrome, gold or black nickel?
So far I like 1) blue 2) green and 3) red (Stern's)
Quoted from Blacksun:Out of curiosity who picks the art themes on Stern machines?
Stevie wonder and Ray Charles get in a room together.
Quoted from Rascal_H:Zombie Yeti supposedly said these lo res web images are way over saturated. So maybe not as overly colorful as people fear.
There's no way this won't look absolutely amazing person! Preview thumbnail pics are always a bummer. Can't wait for some physical glamour shots of this beast.
Quoted from Sammy31:Wanted the spitfire to look like a real Spitfire not a 2 seat trainer!
ZombieY cannot draw airplanes for shit. Meaning, he is an amazing artist that doesn't care to do a minute of homework. Shame.
I have seen the full set of hi res photos....the red looks killer!!! these low res photos suck, I am stoked now!!!
....please continue
Quoted from Hi-Fi:Any pics of the Premium/LE exclusive playfield features?
This is what I really want to see someone post please.
Quoted from Sammy31:Wanted the spitfire to look like a real Spitfire not a 2 seat trainer!
Yes it's a bit of a shame to see the Spitfire bastardized, tail gunner . lol
The Spitfire is such a gorgeous plane, ( on my bucket list the fly in one )
The Messerschmitt in the blade art got a spinning prop
I am okay to overlook these minor details and have no complaints.
I really think the LE will jaw dropping in the flesh
Looking forward to high res pics.
Blue trim looks best to me. MF. Was REALLY hoping for Aces High Eddie. Not gonna condemn just yet over a few crappy pics, but...damn...feel like a kid that just got punched on Christmas. Oi.
Quoted from Rascal_H:Zombie Yeti supposedly said these lo res web images are way over saturated. So maybe not as overly colorful as people fear.
The images people have are not low res - they are 3159 × 4906 shot with a Nikon D800
Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:There's no way this won't look absolutely amazing person! Preview thumbnail pics are always a bummer. Can't wait for some physical glamour shots of this beast.
Agree, I was down on GOTGLE at reveal and now really like it... But that was the gold color. I knew if I hated it I could always change that easily.
I just don't like the plane on the side... Seems like such a waste of potential to do something truly artistic with all the Iron Maiden Eddie art..... I need to sleep on this....
Always the same here. Did any of you ever saw the decals on Mustang LE or Batman SLE or even Iron Man in real life ? Pictures just cannot do justice on them and the all look frickin amazing because of the metallic decals. This will be a knockout machine.
Quoted from kidchrisso:I have seen the full set of hi res photos....the red looks killer!!! these low res photos suck, I am stoked now!!!

The pictures I saw are a much different looking red and would agree the previous pictures posted looked way over-saturated. I have not seen high-resolution ones tho. I like the look either way, sure the premium will be killer as well. Pro was great and that best part of all.........they all play pinball inside of them!!!!
Well, if Stern closes at 5, we have about 15 minutes for them to release the pics or I bet its another day of waiting.
Quoted from DerGoetz:ZombieY cannot draw airplanes for shit. Meaning, he is an amazing artist that doesn't care to do a minute of homework. Shame.
Sure, I mean all of us know how all imaginary airplanes on imaginary battlefields with skeleton zombies look.
Quoted from Medisinyl:My Photoshop skills aren't as good as GBs (using GIMP actually), but I wanted to see what Gold looked like. I think I dig it.
Add metal flake and it reminds me of a 1970 Schwinn banana seat. I like a lot.
oh man this stuff is awesome. I'm so hyped for this premium/le playfield. If you're confused how any of this works go check out Keith's archer vids. The sarcophagus lock ball is gonna be so cool.
Quoted from theironmaiden:Motorized guardian of tomb in both positions.
Cool feature, but we need a better 3d version of him. My prediction is that the first person to make one sells a ton of them.
Quoted from lodgingdolphin:It's under the lifting ramp.
Archer had one on the left too. That's a captive ball here.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:..So far I like 1) blue 2) green and 3) red (Stern's)
Amended 1) golden mustard 2) blue 3) green 4) Stern red
Playfield art is INSANE! I loved Yeti's art for GB, this just takes it to a whole new level. Great job
I can already tell this is going to be a game that's in my collection for a very long time. Totally stoked at what it has to offer.
Quoted from Sammy31:Wanted the spitfire to look like a real Spitfire not a 2 seat trainer!
Maybe it's intentionally not a spitfire because that would probably require extra licensing costs from whoever owns the rights to the plane.
Rob
Quoted from twinmice:Anyone know how the orb works? Is it just a target?
It looks like a magnet.
