Who's the designer for Ghostbusters? If I missed it, my apologies.

The cabinet sides should light up like Star Trek LE to represent the proton pack. There should be a magnet to catch the ball. When capturing a ghost, the magnet catches the ball, cabinet sides light up, and the light show should correspond to the trap opening and closing.
2 movies worth of callout material. Whoever is in charge of sound on this one could have a lot of fun with it.
What show was that back in January where WWE was unveiled? Is that show still the first week of January coming up?
They can at least do something pretty cool with the light show for the trap.
My prediction, the LE cabinet color will be mostly white and red.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:That sounds awesome at first, but I'm not sure Murray's sardonic voice and style would work well for Pinball. Akroyd? Hell yes! He voice is higher pitched and more frantic.
That being said, I'd still want some lifted lines of Murray's from the movies of course. Just think Akroyd is better for the custom speech.
There's so many Bill Murray lines from both movies that can be used.
The ESP test scene, there's a good 2 or 3 lines that can be used. That's just his opening scene.
Awesome hurry up would be Bill Murray screaming (In the hall way at the hotel) and you have to hit the shot. If you hit it in time, Murray then says "It slimed me."
Quoted from Rarehero:I used to play this all the time when I was a kid...even this had the song!

I still have my NES version.
Quoted from QuarterGrabber:Is it as good as they say it is?

You need the MAX or Advantage controller in order to make it up the stairs to the final level. Considering the year it came out (1987?), it was pretty good for what it was.
Quoted from kaneda:What makes me nervous is GOT was 2 years in production and the toys are really lame. They didn't even hide the wires that make the dragons wings flap.
I have an LE and the game is downright amazing.
GOT should really push some non pinball owners into purchasing their first machine.
No manufacturing company does everything in-house. Becomes too costly.
With my business, I roughly subcontract out about 20% of the work I do. The stuff I contract out, I don't do everyday. The way I see it, I may brush my teeth everyday, but that doesn't make me a dentist.
Quoted from dmbjunky:You won't have to "slog" through that show. Game of Thrones is awesome. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it but once it hooks you, it's a wild ride.
The machine is what got me into Game of Thrones.
It is too difficult to pass up on a Steve Ritchie LE machine. When I ordered the machine, I hadn't seen an episode. A week after ordering it, I started to watch the series. Took me about 3 weeks to get through the first 5 seasons. Now I'm dying for season 6 to get here.
What I would like to know, is why is Stern sharing Ghostbusters with so many people before they reveal it
Did anyone see who the main villain is in the reboot?
I really hope Sony doesn't have any unusual demands like putting the new villain into the pinball machine.
I don't know about others, but I don't trust Sony when it comes to keeping things pure.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:Spiderman VE will be about 250 pins at most. A pimple on the ass of games like GOT or TWD. Won't stop Stern from announcing Ghostbusters soon.
Nice! Kind of makes the VE almost like a limited edition.
Quoted from jar155:Our recording got a little sensitive. But here's the bottom line: the leak sucks for Stern. It does. It definitely had an impact on several things, and none of that impact has been very positive. I just wish Stern had stepped out in front of the leak, took control of the conversation, and told people to wait for an official announcement at a later date. Not sure if the show will ultimately make it to air. We'll see...
I say air the podcast.
Quoted from txstargazer3:The rumor is that the Premium will feature the Stay-Puft Man.
Since Stay Puft is on the pro, they should go with the 2 dogs for the premium.
Stern just updated their Facebook page to black for their cover photo...announcement should be soon.
Quoted from Pinzzz:@trekkie1978
You talked me into it!
Time to break the wrap on the 4k remastered Blu-rays!
I just have the blu-ray.
Wasn't Game Of Thrones announced on a Friday, then a few days later the details of the machine were revealed?
Have all the LEs been sold by the distributors?
I'd imagine Automated will be the last to sell out due to their prices.
I hope this shows Stern that the licenses don't need to be current in order to have a hit on their hands.
I think a new Back to the Future would be a big hit. Maybe others like Top Gun, Rocky, Batman (Keaton), Lethal Weapon (based on all 4), or Superman (Reeve).
Quoted from frolic:Nostalgia is big business nowadays, but I wonder if this is good for long term health. I know 80s movies are like catnip to us, but does that expand the pinball business for long term growth?
I think it does. It would be following the Disney model for their movies (before the home video market).
Wold you rather have the old Back to the Future game or a brand new one on the SPIKE system?
Quoted from iceman44:Just goes to show you. When you put out a pin that looks like that with a packed play field and features you hardly hear a peep about the price increase.
Star Wars will probably tack on another $500 because of theme, LCD and Ritchie
We will be looking at $8500 for the LE and $7200 for the premium
I think more for Star Wars.
I had a read a while ago that Disney jacked up the licensing fee for Star Wars.
I don't know if this means anything, but on my Iron Man VE, where the 2 magnets are, Stern installed mylar around them. Those 2 magnets whip the ball all over the place.
Quoted from FalconPunch:No. Don't think the hobbit has any magnets. 3 or so divertor but no magnets
Hobbit has 2 magnets on top of the playfield. They use the magnets instead of 2 way gates.
Quoted from thelastjay:I was told directly by a distributor (today) that LEs would ship within 1-2 weeks.
Are the LEs on the line yet?
Quoted from VolunteerPin:Just got a call from my distro...LE's shipping next week or week following supposedly. Have to pony up my balance!
Who did you buy from?
Quoted from iceman44:No truer words were ever spoken.
With a HUO pin that came NIB I can't believe all the waste of $$ that goes on to put metal all over the place on your pinball machine.
On route, whatever, at home, not for me.
Some cling vinyl and thin self adhesive felt is all I need.
What about a game like KISS where the scoop just takes a beating?
I pay my machines off right away when I buy them.
Does it put me higher on the list because of that? No clue. I'd just rather get it over and done with. It's not like the banks are paying me anything to keep my money there anyway.
Quoted from Cobray:I hear Lonnie has taken over the code development on GB.
If this is true, an LE will now be available.
Quoted from Pinballlew:Let me know I will take over either spot
After what Lonnie did to Star Trek and KISS...I really don't want to go through that again.
Quoted from markp99:I wonder how many would pay extra to see a stripped-down Ritchie?
Quoted from iceman44:I'm in on the LE because of the Slimer look.
Going back and forth on this one but I think I'll stick with Slimer, back glass, artwork and metal apron look awesome.
Worth the extra money? Not really I think but wtf
Do both LE and premium have a shaker?
I think just the LE has the shaker.
It's extremely easy to install a shaker on the SPIKE system. 4 screws into the cabinet, 2 to hold the plastic cover down, then plug it in to the cabinet node board. If it takes you longer than 90 seconds, you did something wrong.
I've been waiting since November for my PDI glass. If mine doesn't arrive with this next shipment, I'm gonna cancel my order and just drive to JJP to pick some up.
Video of my LE:
Special thanks to Pinball Supernova for filming it and helping out with setting up the game.
Quoted from Pinnutz:Here is what I got when I opened my Pro last Friday. Kind of put a damper on the un-boxing party. Box looked good, maybe some slight signs of compression. Distributor is replacing it. Hopefully I don't have to wait another 4 months...
Do you ship that back to Stern or your distributor? Or straight to the garbage dump?
