Great news!

$6,600 and still a DMD? Sorry, but that sucks.

Am I missing something, haven't the stern premiums been around the $7495 ballpark recently? Doesn't this represent a reduction of $900. Why would Stern lower the prices... What am I missing?

You're confusing MSRP with street prices. Mid-$6000s is the norm.

I hope so. I heard differently. Was he positive?
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:You're confusing MSRP with street prices. Mid-$6000s is the norm.
Bingo.
Never pay attention to Sterns MSRP on these games.
Premiums have been mid 6,000's for quite awhile now and still are.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:Yes to your "if we see fit" comment.
Gay Stern NEVER said "We are no longer making Premiums ever again for any title".
Wow, I didn't know Stern was gay.

The Pro cab art, if this is it, is absolutely, in my opinion, AWESOME. Knowing nothing at this point, I'd buy the Pro simply based on the cab art. (see you on the others side guys, because I'm sure I'll get an eject for this)

I really like the ECTO-1 cabinet art, but I'd rather have the Slimer LE with the full featured playfield. I may be in the minority, but I like the green body hardware better.
Quoted from txstargazer3:The rumor is that the Premium will feature the Stay-Puft Man.
Since Stay Puft is on the pro, they should go with the 2 dogs for the premium.
That Ecto side art is the best side art i have seen from Stern. Hope they keep it like this and not fill it up with brand names.

I really would like the game play and extras of the LE or Premium, but the Slimer Green armor I've seen is a bit too much for me. I'd be curious to see what the Stay Puft Premium has as far as art work, but man alive, I'm just smitten with the Pro cab artwork. Call me weird...

Were these really the GOT costs upon release?
September 2015 / Game of Thrones / Pro / $5995
September 2015 / Game of Thrones / Premium / $7595
September 2015 / Game of Thrones / LE / $8795
I ask b/c I see 2 or 3 premiums being sold here from guys that look brand new and they're 6100-6600. That's almost 1k right off the top and it's only 6 months only. Is that typical for these games to lose that much value this early and if so, I might hold off and a "used" one....

That is MSRP, not street price.
April / 2013 / Metallica / LE / $7595

that's a really good deal for LE. where did you buy? I've seen premium quotes for GB at 6800 which seems high if that was your cost for LE.
Come on guys. Isn't this pricing stuff common knowledge? Msrp means nothing. Ever buy a car?
For pinball , subtract $1000
I now feel that we could explain what MSRP is until we are blue in the face and it would not help one bit.
Just call a distributor and ask what the price is people.
But we have already told you it will be around $4800 for a Pro and $6500 for a Premium.
They are just not allowed to post those prices. But that is what you will pay here in the states.
Quoted from jonesjb:Am I missing something, haven't the stern premiums been around the $7495 ballpark recently? Doesn't this represent a reduction of $900. Why would Stern lower the prices... What am I missing?
You are missing a good distributer.
Quoted from delt31:do premiums come with shakers and LEDs?
LED's yes, shakers usually not. But then LE's don't always come with a shaker either.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:I don't think Gary even said no more Premiums. They make too much money off of them. The only thing that might make sense was them waiting until LE's sell out until announcing Premiums, but they went back to the old model of announcing all 3 at once starting with KISS.
At the time Gary stated absolutely no Preemies, then, in a Dick move, waited til LE's were sold out then announced. He said it was just timing, but we all know what chess move was played.
Great looking flyer! When was the last time we had a really creative flyer like that? I hope ZombieYeti becomes the most famous pinball artist of all time btw. Hopefully this is just the first (second? third?) of many many games he gets to do the art for. He's clearly capable of doing several different styles, the guy's good.
This is easily the coolest license Stern has gotten since I've been in the hobby. I'm trying my best to be patient here and not break the bank on theme alone. If it plays well I am undoubtedly in.
Will Ghostbusters be at Texas Pinball Festival or Not??? Anyone have word on the status of this game for the show in a few weeks?
J.Tradeu is speaking there and I can't believe they would not have a machine there in person. Im heading there either way!
Quoted from PinBalt:J.Tradeu is speaking there and I can't believe they would not have a machine there in person.
The reality is Stern games are not "done" until they start to roll off the factory line, complete with goodie bags stapled inside. If the Pros aren't on the line, then there will be no GB in Texas. They won't bring a prototype.
Quoted from Trekkie1978:Since Stay Puft is on the pro, they should go with the 2 dogs for the premium.
Stay-Puft is on the Pro, but it's not Stay-Puft themed.
Quoted from frolic:The reality is Stern games are not "done" until they start to roll off the factory line, complete with goodie bags stapled inside. If the Pros aren't on the line, then there will be no GB in Texas. They won't bring a prototype.
From what I've heard, they already have a couple of Pros built.
Quoted from Darth_Chris:So who's getting LE number 1
That one will be fought over for sure
I scratch my head at low number request. What is it good for? To be able to say "I have the number 1 machine". I believe it is a mis-understood perception. I was told that Stern does not keep track of numbered plaques and they are randomly taken out of a mixed box to place on games as the line moves. For an extra fee you can request a specific number and Stern will set a game aside for a particular number request. It does not particularly mean that it was the first machine produced on the line. On a side note I know several people that want one of the last machines off the line because they feel they are the highest quality in terms of workmanship and product.
I would actually buy an LE (if it was avail) however that slimer green is just too much. Much prefer the pro look.
Quoted from delt31:I would actually buy an LE (if it was avail) however that slimer green is just too much. Much prefer the pro look.
This may be one of those titles to sit on the side lines and wait and see. It sounds like the Stay Puff will be the version of choice and the Pro will look fantastic as well. The determining factor for me will be how the game plays. Will the LE/Premium have feature differences that affect gameplay? Or will the differences simply be flashy color changing LED's, powdercoating, and mirrored backglass?
Quoted from rai:Is there only 500 LEs?
Yes, a distributor confirmed with me that it looks like Stern is knocking the LE number down to 500 units worldwide for GB.
