I like the whole trap magnet idea, but the actual playfield would need a few magnets below it randomly pulsing to make it hard to get the "ghost" ball into the trap.

or pop up ghosts, maybe even a new sort of mech where a permanent post is on the playfield and then a half round ghost pops up only just in front of the permanent posts and these can pulse up and down. Just need to keep the channel / gap less than the bottom of the ball and the post so the gap does not fail.

There'd probably also have to be some type of fail-safe in the bottom of the ramp sub-playfield that would get the ball back up on top. It'd be cool to have a diverter or something down there that was also part of the gameplay!
Yeah I think Stern is going to have a huge winner on their hands with this game! So much potential!! I could not be more excited about this machine!

Absolutely. A Ghostbusters pin, if based on the original movies (sounds like it so far), would be a hit among pinheads and players as many of them grew up with the original films.

I think the main theme being licensed is probably a given, but I'd love to see some of the other music from the soundtrack and the score utilized as well! The way it was all incorporated into the custom GB pin was great!
What show was that back in January where WWE was unveiled? Is that show still the first week of January coming up?

I've been on the internet way too long to be bothered by the mental image of old-man balls.

My Balls are sagging worse than an Iraqi sun baked cow chip.
My prostate is blowing up at 53, at least a couple of nightly runs to empty on drinking nights, and my bladder holds a frig full of liquids.
My right knee needs a replacement in the future from playing hoops. So what.

I now look forward to my first colonoscopy in January and the next physical I get with a two finger prostate exam 
Is it bad that I don't want to be asleep for the colonoscopy?
I have very wild dreams now, not sure what to make of them but hey, makes for good recall when i hit the late night pisser.
