Houdini is one that i will probably get, and I have liked everything i have seen so far, until the LED T-molding, thats ugly and i really hope that they do not do it. Its one of those things that will actually make me consider getting the game.

Please AP, leave that off and let one of the mod makers make it for those that like ugly

Just got home, was up at the AP factory today. Got to spend some time with Joe and Rosh. I picked up one that im putting out on location in St Louis next week. I did get one of the "D" games, and wow, if this is how picky they are going to be with quality control. You will be VERY happy.

My machine was not boxed up yet. SO I ask Ryan, can you show me the "defect". He told me to take some time and see if i could find it. I did know that mine had a defect near the right sling, so i concentrated on that. After about 5 minutes, i still say nothing. Then he pulls out a piece of paper that has my serial number on it has a picture of the playfield, with a marker circling where the defect was. I look back at the playfield, and still never saw it. If QC is that picky where i couldn't find a flaw when it is pointed out to me. Then im going to be very happy with this company

THanks for taking the time to talk today guys, it was a pleasure coming up there

Quoted from SDTMinSTL:

I love Houdini. I ordered one and I am getting VERY close to payment time and the commitment that comes with it. I have played 7 or so machines in the wild, from GAP in Chicago to Padavans in STL, Texas Pinball Festival etc. I am noticing some inconsistency with the right scoop, specifically, where it kicks the ball out to.
Mike's machine up at GAP was kicking the ball dead nuts SDTM. At the time, he assured me it was a issue with a coding update that reverted to an old set. I have talked to him since and he confirmed that was the case.
All the machines I have played since have kickers that send the ball to the top of the slingshot. I noticed it on every single Houdini kickout tonight at TPF. I don't know if this is a consequence of the quick development timeline, misadjusted solenoid power, or a misadjusted kickout etc. For those of you that have one, are you noticing this?
Jason

SDTMinSTL , that's my Houdini at Padavans. Enjoy it while you can, I think that ill be picking it up soon to finally bring it home, or let Chuck use it some at CPPinball. Although I have had a few people ask me if I would sell it, so if one of the offers is good enough, it might not make it back home
