I got the email today from Jen that my game is ready. Mine and two others are shipping together. They should be here by early next week. I can't wait.

Would bending the ramp to the left keep the ball on the rails? It should take the stress off the ramp at the very least, but it may fix your issue. Have you taken the ramp completely off and re-installed it. I am not sure why your ball is bouncing, but it could be from where the ball is entering the ramp.

Well, I have received mine and I love the game play out of the box, but I am disappointed with the fit and finish and the quality control. These cabinets have obviously been sitting around for a long time as the bottom of my cabinet had water stains. I also had bubbling under my decal from dust. They are not near the quality of the WOZ cabinet. They are closer to the quality of Stern Pro with the decals not going under the side rails and the wrap around front. In addition, I had a ball ending prematurely and then lose count of balls going forward. I ended up reseating the connectors for the trough boards and I believe this fixed the problem. I also have a couple of issues with 2 of the pop ups. On one, it stopped registering hits. It ended up being a screw that fastens the face to the pop up assembly had come out and was stopping the mechanism from registering hits. On the second pop up, it was no longer popping up. It ended up being the 2 screws that fasten the face assembly to the pop up coil assembly. They had come out and fallen on top of the computer. Now I have to remove those 2 pop up assembies to fix both these issues. Hopefully, the manual details how to remove them.

OK, what a PITA that was taking off the pop ups. Actually, after getting to a hidden screw, it wasn't too bad. The PITA was putting it back on. To take off, you have to pull off hairpin clips that are holding the springs in place for the spring steel flap. After the flap is off, it is just a matter of removing the 5 screws on the underside of the playfield and dropping the mechanism from below. Pulling them off is easy enough if you use a magnet attached to the spring before pulling the hairpin clip, otherwise the spring will go flying once you pull the clip. Putting it back on is a different story. I would not have been able to do this without the assistance of my wife. My fingers are to big to get enough of them in there to hold the spring and set the hairpin clip.

What do you base this on, pinside posts?

Before I start, I am a huge fan of both JJP and Stern. I believe that JJP's entrance into the pinball world has caused Stern to pick their game up. I have both Game of Thrones LE and The Hobbit SE sitting side by side in my family room. I also have in my collection WOZLE and STLE sitting side by side in my hobby room. Without a doubt, Stern is on the rise in quality and JJP is on the decline. I was hugely disappointed in the cabinet artwork on the Hobbit, it looked like a Stern Pro with the wrap around decals and bubbles. I will also say that Stern screwed up in releasing GOTLE with the issue with the left orbit slash inlanes. Their fix for this is to remove the rubber from the drop down inlanes.

ahh!
The little metal up down guide in the mech. I have two of these screws but there is only one hole that has a cut thread.
Know of anywhere else these thumb screws are used?
edit: never mind found it! There are two of the up down guides

Could that be the screw for the computer case?

Quoted from mbelofsky:

I've owned my game 1 month (with some downtime to fix the Warg popup and an EOS switch). I played 59 games. That is about $140 per game; 305 balls (about $27 a ball); average ball time 130 seconds ($0.21 a second for play time). I need to play about 8,100 or so games to bring the cost down to $1 a game.
What does Chase Balls mean? I have 0 of them.
My "Ball Saved" count is 0. Is this the number of times I hit the target in the right outlane and then save the ball? Is it the number of times I lost the ball within the 10 second grace period I added? If so, then this is not recording correctly. Not really an issue but wondering what it is counting.
Thanks
Michael

You are assuming the game has zero value after you play 8100 games. Probably not a good assumption.
