I am in too, especially for a cool topper. Looking forward to seeing how things develop.

Have you folks seen the Topper that Dan at Tilttopper.com is offering. It is a one time limited edition and it looks very cool. At $270 including shipping, I ordered one. I have bought from him before and I like his quality and service. If a better version if offered by someone later, I will upgrade and resell this one. But, I don't want to hold my breath on Stern (think Star Wars) waiting for it to happen while Dan sells out on his. BTW, I have no 'skin in the game'. I just want to share the information for what ever its worth.
#218 has arrived in Oregon and all looks good but, it's only been a few hours now. Still, I don't see any playfield issues and the game is playing as it should. My machine has a build date of 9/16/2019. It also has no art work immediately around the sling posts, etc. so it appears the clear coat issue is under control. I should add that I took delivery of a Deadpool Premium last week that has a build of 8/16/2019 and it too seems perfect so far.

I installed some mods today including the Electric Fence Upgrade that Mezel MOD offers. It is an awesome upgrade from the simple acrylic plastics that came with my LE but it did require some modifications to successfully install. Here are just a few hints:
1. The wire guides in the new columns were to small for the crimped edges of the fence wire to fit; An easy solve that was accomplished by drilling larger holes for the crimped ends to fit into.
2. The mod seems like it was designed and tested on a JP Pro because the T-Rex on my LE bashed into the sides of the columns and got stuck on the left side and started chattering as the gearing became stressed. I had to turn the game off and make the maximum adjustments that I could in order to provide clearance; it now just barely clears now but the 10000 volt sign that is included had to be placed low on the right side column so that the T-Rex could clear it too.
3. The 'broken' wires for the fence had to be moved as far to the outside of each columns as could be achieved so that they would no entangle the T-Rex.
These are all relatively minor issues but that are worth knowing about in advance in order to obtain a satisfactory install. All in all it is a simple install and I am quite pleased with the end result.
Hope this helps.
Quoted from catchlight:Could I see a picture of that mod on your game? Sounds interesting
Here it is:
20190926_165207.jpg20190926_165224.jpgUnless my WONKA CE absolutely blows me away (assuming it ever shows up), Jurassic Park is my odds on favorite for game of the year. Maybe it is just infatuation but I have several great pins to compare it to and this game is an absolute blast to play. Its' sound effects (dinos roaring and squealing, helicopter blades cutting the air, the John Williams JP score, etc.) are excellent. The toys like the T-Rex (gotta have the premium or LE because the dino's movements and ball 'spitting' are a riot) and the Raptor pen (hard to achieve) are outstanding. The shots are smooth and also difficult and they make for a really satisfying experience. I could rave on but everything including the build quality of my game adds up to a truly great pin. Two minor things though could be improved upon in the game. 1. Stern really needs to enhance the code to allow shaker intensity to be dialed down. 2. Nedry's call outs could stand some added volume; way to subtle. All in all, my Jurassic Park LE is bolted to the floor in my house assuming the shaker does not knock it down.
Quoted from timlah79:JP LE #362 is arriving at 5pm today (Seattle)! I will post pics once it's all set up!
BTW, anyone catch word from Stern on the amber shooter rod? Seen a lot of confusion around that in the forums, still nothing up on their site. I pre-ordered mine through Little Shop Of Games a couple months ago.
Stern marketing told me that they would be available in October.
Me too but how can you not have it. It should have been part of the LE package but it will be part of my LE.
I admit it. I am a compulsive "MODDER" but they all look so good! I just added some more great MODS from the Modfather (a cool looking goat, a fierce looking pteranodon, and lots of foilage). I think all really add up to an already great "world under glass). It's just too much fun!
20191108_081551.jpg20191108_081415.jpgHey Delt. I shared info on this Topper in my post #308 in this string and you said in #311 that you were "not impressed" and that it "looks like a rehash". I guess you changed your mind huh?
Quoted from WizardsCastle:Is this the official Stern topper?
No. It was offerred by Tilt Topper as a limited run item a couple of months ago. You might contact Dan at Tilt Topper if you want one. I placed my order as soon as I saw it because I thought it looked great and I have bought from Dan before and know his quality. And, I don't have a lot of confidence that a Stern version will be forthcoming soon. Has any one seen the Star Wars Topper?
Quoted from Royale-W-Cheese:It is a tight squeeze. They could have added a few extra inches to make it a little easier to get thru without a flashlight and some needle nose...LOL.
Absolutely right. Despite online instructions, better to attach jumper connector to mod bulb and then use a cable tie taped to connectors to guide and feed wire up to 3 way harness.
Alternatively, put a model boulder there. Adds to the 'world under glass' and can be easily obtained from a local hobby shop. Quick and simply mounted using double sided tape. I did that in the area diectly in front of the T-Rex to eliminate errant balls from getting caught in the leg of the goat mod that I had placed there. The boulder(s) are made of a composition material that can withstand hits from a ball and will divert the ball back onto the play field. An 'ez pz' solution. I would love to have posted a picture but too far away at the moment. Hope this suggestion helps. Happy Holidays to all.
Quoted from Alamo_Pin:If you had ten pins, trust me... you would still want one more!
Amen Brother. Can't ever have too many, just not enough money and room....
I just received and installed a coin door mod for my JP LE. I bought it from InscribedSolutions.com. I really like the way it looks vs. having just the standard black coin door. A really easy install (just place the magnetic vinyl on the door and presto....done). This is the second one that I have purchased (Deadpool was the first) and I will certainly buy ones for my Mandalorian and TMNT when they become available. The price (69.99 +shipping) is very reasonable and the owner (Michael) is a great guy to do business with. Really anxious to make sure his customers are satisfied. And no, I did not receive anything for posting this, just wanted to share.
