Rush or Motley Crue Post #182 in topic

Posted over 3 years ago by Chambo – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply over 2 years ago

Owning pinball is “chick repellent”. Hence, Rush + Pinball = perfect combo. Geddy Lee, Eric Lifeson, Neil Peart. You’ve heard these songs, even by accident. Not in Australia! Rush is as popular as a redheaded stepchild down here Of course, we’d have Stern making Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Easybeats and Hoodoo Guru pinball machines, which may sell as well outside Australia as Hankin’s Dennis Lillee’s Howzat machine did in the 1980s.

Rarest game you own? Post #401 in topic

Posted over 8 years ago by Toads – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply over 3 years ago

How do they play? I've heard Empire is a pretty weak player. Do the standard bodies play different from the widebodies? The wide bodies do seem to play slower than the first two. Howzat and Shark are nice pins to play for their time. Emp is very much like space invaders layout and a lot of people don't like it. It's my partners favourite machine as she used to own a spacies. F j Holden and howzat play the c'mon Aussie c'mon tune at the end of game, pretty nostalgic for an Aussie pin.

Yea, I've never seen that Empire in real life, but they may want to knock that number down to 349 in existence at maximum now. Good call. I'm sure it's way less than that sadly. Other random games by Hankin include Orbit 1 (which looks a lot like Stern Orbitor 1 only less cool) and Howzat! which is a wide body cricket themed game, so take it off the list of themes we wished existed. They also made a game called shark which is a wide body. [att=64573,161424]
