Yeah o-din, they basically copied the whole game but added modern features of a mini golf...Like alligator that blocks ball, windmill that blocks shot, ramp you have to jump over and big hills.

#352 3 years ago

It looks like a lot of fun! I think Mikeincali has one too. AlexF has Mini Golf.

#353 3 years ago

Currently for me: Bad Cats

#354 3 years ago
Quoted from WackyBrakke:

TAF, does that count?

It does if you don't know how numbers work, or your collection is wrong

#355 3 years ago

Probably my Williams sky lab. I just ordered reproduction back glass. Playfield is in great shape! Think production was over 3000, but still a low number in my view. I'm currently trying to obtain. A stern 1977 "pinball" with a little over 1600 made. I just recently kissed out on an atari airborne avenger that had a stuck flipper button for 400 bucks (still kicking myself for that one)...

Rarest three in my stable...

Bally Skyrocket (545 production)
Fire! Champagne Edition (273 production)
Freedom prototype (100 production)

One of the biggest travesties in pinball was the decision to remove the middle-pop from Freedom. It is the #1 game in my collection, and quite honestly, is (still) the best EM I have ever played.

I picked up a punchy the clown a week or so ago. It's the rarest game I've ever owned. Probably star race outside of that though

How did you find the star race? I was left choosing between star race and punk and ended up going with the punk. The artwork on star race looks pretty amazing though.

#360 3 years ago

A Bruins retheme of a Power Play Bobby Orr count? I know Power Play is not that rare, I own 2 of them. The re theme and the original.

#361 3 years ago

I have both, IMHO, Punk is the better game.

I actually never got to play it. I had a ton of projects going on all at once and got offered more than I thought it was worth in the condition it was in and I let it go. Now that I've kind of got my feet wet on system 80 I wish I had it back

#363 3 years ago

RCT? Not rare, but mine has no flipper wear which is kind of rare.

I just hope to play a punk someday!

I was really keen on the Star Race but the guy selling gave me the same advice that the Punk was much better so I went that way.

Just picked up a project GamePlan Sharp Shooter II from a fellow pinsider--only 600 made.

Does anybody have, know, seen, a Bell games World Cup Challenge?
Mini pinball payout pin. Put in a quarter, win 2.
Made in Italy in 1991 for upcoming world Cup in 1994. Ipdb says never went into production. Rumored only 5 made, didn't go into production because was considered gambling device.
It was also designed to be a bar top table top pin. Maybe 36 inches by 18 inches, under 20 inches tall.
Please let me know.
Thanks Eric

I've got a couple of rare games. But I guess my rarest game would be 1981 Stern Split Second

While we're on Game Plan, I'll add Agents 777 at 400 made.

Stern Grand Prix is my rarest at the moment. Wish I knew how many there are, pretty scarce on our continent but I'm guessing not uncommon in Europe.

#374 3 years ago

More of a redemption game than pinball even though it uses all Wpc95 boards and parts. They only made 123 and most get parted out for the boards alone. This one is a prototype and the only one in a true Safecracker cabinet with legs, different color playfield, ROM v1.3 with gumball animations and software along with a gumball dispenser instead of a ticket spitter.

This is probably the rarest game that I own. 1933 Gottlieb Speedway

How about that Scared Stiff next to it? It has the "un-slashed" RRR side decals. If that is the original cab graphics then that's pretty rare!

Reproduction cabinet decals have the "un-slashed" version.

But thank you.

Yep original screened cabinet art, not decals. It's a prototype SS with all the goodies: Red boards, eyeball shooter, glow in the dark bones, different playfield artwork, different cabinet art, different bottom arch, dancing boogie men, switches behind pop bumpers, etc.

I have two Bally City Slicker pins but one is a parts game. (300 produced) I just bought a CGC Vacation America which according to Todd Tuckey had a production run of 530.

A GBLE with No Ghosts! Rare!

(just a little humor....)

A GBLE with No Ghosts!

I could actually own one like that, since I ain't afraid of NO ghosts.

#385 3 years ago

Tron LE is my rarest game... not exactly a classic (yet)

#386 3 years ago

I guess it's rare? 1946 Bally Midget Racer. I contacted bgresto about having the back glass restored but haven't heard anything back from them.

I have a Gottlieb Gladiators and an Airborne Avengers. Both seem to be pretty rare.. Both are in beautiful condition.

#388 3 years ago

I just picked up an AGBGOAWT by Alvin G. Probably rarer than my Stern Grand Prix, although maybe not if you consider North America only.

#389 3 years ago

I have a Playboy made by Rally I don't see many of these around ?

Anybody know where the term "fliptronic" came from that is printed on that game? I always thought that term first appeared in WPC games.

That's an odd shaped but cool looking game. Are the flipper buttons attached to the lockdown bar? I'm sure it's not but the displays almost look like a nixie tube display. Are the displays different in any way?

#393 3 years ago

nixie they are

#394 3 years ago

OK, PinballKing, How exactly are coins meant to be put into the game? Is the lock down bar missing coin slots?

#395 3 years ago
Quoted from Schusler:

Emo, you didn't chime in on "worst artwork" post!!! Reference to Torpedo Alley.....
Seriously though Emo, how is the gameplay on Torpedo Alley? I only played it on pinmame and when know how that is.....

Torpedo Alley's artwork is fantastic! Probably the single best artwork on an alphanumeric pin. It screams "We wanted to emulate Gottlieb's photo translites' photorealism, but want to class things up by airbrushing actually pants on the captain instead of tights."

It's a pretty fun game, not brilliant, but in the same vein as Laser War and Robocop.

#396 3 years ago

Not sure it's the rarest game I own, but I have a Playmatic - The Raid in storage. I doubt there are many of that.

AC/DC, Howzat, Shark, FJ Holden.... probably the most Australian pin line up you could have, if only you had a Boomerang!

How do they play? I've heard Empire is a pretty weak player. Do the standard bodies play different from the widebodies?
