It might not be as easy as just using old clips somebody owns the rights . I was told all clips get approved by the band or management of the band .

Little Holograms of the band playing would be cool on a upper level stage with ramps..Is that possible holograms?
Quoted from cdnpinbacon:My wife asked if I wanted go to To the flea market yesterday. I’m in. Bought these 2 gems for 2 bucks and a Huge bag of beef jerkey!

Great old cd's, hope the jerky isn't as old
Quoted from smokinhos:Yeah but he slept with Pamela Anderson, you didn't. You would have volunteered to get your a$$ kicked to do that back in the day..
Judging by your Pinside name, you're probably not the demographic for Rush.
And I'd rather Tommy Lee sleep with Pamela Anderson than me. Because...you know...Hep C.
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:I bought Saints of Los Angeles which had ONE great song on it (and which was originally written for Sixx AM).
Trolled me harder with this than the Neil Purt guy. Well Done! I'm all, "White Trash Circus? Just Another Psycho? The Title track? Motherfkkr of the Year? Animal? Machine? Which One?!!?!" Chicks?.... GOIN'OUTSWINGIN' -gotta be it I gotta go listen now, made my afternoon fer sure - I BEEN GOT!

That wasn’t a troll, dude - I was genuinely disappointed in that record. The Saints single was SO good, but nothing else on that album is worth listening to

Rdoyle is a musician , and I also play guitar...Hatchet Neil Pearts name on purpose? , especially to a musician who plays Rush cover music and pretty good I must say. You should read his autobiography and I bet he won’t be Neil purt anymore.
If the LE is special to me, I’m in. It’s all really subjective. I rarely buy a game based on the opinions of the pinside masses.
Otherwise, I’m happy to wait and see the pro/prem options and play them.
I’ve learned to be patient with pin purchases. I’ve had several “automatic buy” “dream themes” that I made an easy pass due to the layout or restrictions from the licensor. For example, Wonka and Zeppelin.
To be fair, I’ll often go back and try a game like that after it’s been out a few years with mature code and used games available.

All Apologies for the Purt thing, didn't mean to disrespect the drummer, was just referencing the OTHER guy's mis-spelling, yeah on purpose. I've read that autobiography - been a Rush fan since '74 when HONESTLY (not trying to troll here) I thought Geddie Lee LOOKED AND SOUNDED just like Burke Shelley of Budgie - which was just PERPLEXINGLY UNEXPECTED - and I was pretty stoked that Working Man had the same vibe. By 2112 they were going a completely different direction than In For the Kill, but I LOVED BOTH.
And that's the thing - I totally bow down before technical excellence (aside - Where the HELL has Tina S been????) and also REALLY enjoy a LOT of NOISY GARBAGE. I appreciate that people here know each other and look out for each other. And just because I don't CARE whether people dis my crappy musical tastes doesn't mean that I don't appreciate someone putting their heart and soul into creating awesome music, being in great bands, covering their most loved songs - I been in tons of bands and there is no better feeling than giving TWO HOURS MORE than what we were paid just because the damn audience was SO great and SO sweaty and moshing and into it and treated us like the Rolling Stones (that ONE time LOL). So I don't mean to imply someones program is not legitimate just because I might poke some unintentional fun at some band they love, and apologize again if it came off that way.

I guess I just enjoy having ONE MORE SWIG of Crue. "I woke up this morning and I fell out of bed. I couldn't find the floor until it hit me in the head...." And that's the thing. I am the Almost Famous demographic. I will enjoy whatever garbage GnFnRs comes out with just for the nostalgia.
I love the feeling of reading something so contrary to my program that I feel compelled to TYPE. I miss the old BBB's and pre-web trolling, and seeing people ignore the HUGE MOUNTAINS (Lee's Voice is FINGERNAILS MANNNNN!) but falling over molehills. I MISS being CAUGHT UP in all that, and It felt GOOD to be trolled even tho you weren't.
And RILLY, a BUDGIE pin would meet HALFWAY and capture BOTH groups of fans here! Zoom Along ramp. In For the Kill multiball. Nude Disintegrating Parachutist Woman backglass
Like the developer to leak designs or hints so they can discuss the opinions of the market At their weekly meetings.

That’s what I thought afterwards what you meant about the persons misspelling ..Cheers! My apologies and a big fan of Budgie
Funny I've skipped over this thread because the title seemed like a joke. How could someone possibly think Motley Crue would be a better pinball theme than Rush? To each their own I guess, but do people actually listen to Motley Crue on purpose? I can't imagine actually popping in a CD or adding it to the MP3 player list. What I can imagine is giving it an instant thumbs down if it ever popped up on my Pandora feed. Oh well, no offense and if there really is that much of a following, there will hopefully some day be a MC pinball machine for their followers.
I was 6 years old when Rush played a concert at Laura Secord secondary school in 1974 , st Catherine’s ontario. Concert on you tube Great watch!

Actually.. smokinHOs is for HO Slot Cars.. that have been around since the 60s. As for Rush, it will be great for Rush fans. Now Van Halen. I can enjoy that and some pinball. I can't help thinking about LZ and Beatles pins. Then all the excitement about Rush. I enjoy the hell out of the GOTG Cleland mod soundtrack, Met, ACDC, Cleland STh sound mod, and others. I can even enjoy Iron Maiden and Kiss and those aren't bands I normally listen to. But they rock. All I hope is that the pin is insanely cool, because like Zep and Beatles, the music doesn't carry it for me. Hell GnR has some serious bring it songs, and after all the lights and hype its just not the grail pin everyone thought it was. I guess I just listen to a bunch of different music then play pins, not listen to my pins while I play.
I’m 44 and listen to mostly punk. This song by Motley Crue is hilarious though. I always get a good laugh when I hear it, so if a Moltey Crue game is made I sure hope this song makes it in the game. I like when pinball machines make me laugh.

Rush has sold around 40 million albums worldwide and Motley Crue is well over 100 million.
Quoted from woody76:Rush has sold around 40 million albums worldwide and Motley Crue is well over 100 million.
true but they sold all those to vinces mother
Quoted from Jamesays:true but they sold all those to vinces mother
Actually I think you're getting confused. Vince bought 100 million burgers.

It is funny how many people really like simple, crappy rock and roll. Not commenting specifically about Motley Crue (kind of), but Jesus some popular bands are like the lowest common denominator music.....which has been mentioned before by many others. The world is full of stupid people, hence the 100 million sold by the Crue. This is not directed at Motley Crue, or your comment about albums sold! Just generalizing........Rush not only is musically superior to about 99.9% of all bands ever, but lyrically may be #1. For many, it is simply too complex for their little nut brains to comprehend and appreciate.......

While I started out agreeing with some of your points… ha - [Removed]
If you actually believe you are somehow of some higher substrate of intelligence merely because you enjoy Rush… well… you are going to enjoy the upcoming responses you are about to receive.

Thanks Skink91......this is what I have noticed for 35 years. It's simply my opinion. Name calling is so cool.........and yes that is my opinion. I am no road scholar, I just base that off of all the trash I have SEEN at other rock shows compared to a RUSH concert.....sorry.
And this is said from a person (me) who loves to go to all types of rock shows......Seeing Iron Maiden for the 6th time next September, even went twice to see Steel Panther lol and have seen countless 80's era shows and enjoyed most all of them immensely! My apologies for being an ass........

If name calling is offensive to your sensibilities, don’t come on here calling people the ‘lowest common denominator’ or ‘stupid people’ as that is a step well below me calling you an ass (which your post most certainly portrayed).
Also… it is “Rhodes Scholar” FWIW.

I most certainly was not a Sousaphone player! (alto sax, baby, yeah)

I'm with you. I stick to high-brow music:

Thanks....I didn't get roasted like Skink thought I would.....plus his personal attack got removed by the moderator lol...........but I get it.
