Posting for a friend. Its a Williams Comet. From what I have seen and talked to him, it looks to be in good shape. Hes taking more pictures tonight of the backglass and ramps. He said ramps aren't cracked. It was his fathers but now they are selling it.

That's the 3rd Comet I've seen in Waynesboro. It also has the patented Chuck Neidinger center post below the flippers.

Chuck would always put a center post just below the flippers, even on games that didn't have posts there from the factory. He had told me at one time that "people like the game a lot more with them there". a broken down robocop parts/bare playfield and cabinet
a partially broken down nine ball populated playfield and cabinet
A working eight ball deluxe, but plastics removed (I have extra plastics)
Too many projects, and would rather move these on to one buyer interested in taking them on.

Found a distributor with some new Sterns in Stock just outside Baltimore and picked up a GZ Premium today (last one!) at slightly over MSRP. Royal Flush Amusements. Posting what they had in stock here as some of these were good deals and you could show up, play test, and leave with them. They had slots, goldentees, multicades, and a few classic arcades. I am not affiliated with them in any way, but here is what was there today. You can show up tomorrow and walk out with a NIB GZ pro.

You are not alone. A neighbor is also in this same boat, since June. Although he has paid a deposit and is on a waiting list. he has been told twice of price increases. If it does not arrive before Dec 31st, apparently the distro price goes up another 2k. WOW.

Yeah i saw it. Not sure what part of NY but it certainly crossed my mind.
If i didn't just get my rampage working, am in the middle of a qbert project and weren't getting my icb in shape to trade i would buy that if the distance was right. Fair price, probably needs little to no money, just a little elbow grease.

Says he's at the NW on the border of NJ in a post he made down in the thread. Sounds like he just wants to get rid of it by xmas so you could probably get it cheaper than his asking price.
If I had room/time I'd contemplate that lol. That is a damn good price for an original 4 player cabinet with the game/monitor. It did say he thinks you need to get joysticks that those are cheap.

Thinking about trading out my ice cold beer after Christmas break.
It's my second one and when my buddy finishes his house in a few weeks and takes some of his pins i'll be too arcade game heavy for my taste.
Waiting on a new control panel overlay (the good one from chomping quarters/this old game, due monday).
Would like trade it for a pin (trades only as of right now).
My wish list is up to date, i'm open to trading up or down plus cash and other pins too.
Preferably the top tier system 11's and newer, not all that interested in any of the pins that i've owned unless the deal is too good to pass up (could possibly go for another NBA which is what i traded years ago to get my first ICB).
I don't mind mechanical projects (i actually prefer them), but i'm completely unqualified to repair major playfield wear.

My arcade is over capacity and Pinbot sadly must go (first world problems). New plastics, rubbers, Comet LEDs to include color matched inserts, fully working and includes the topper. Great game.
Listed my recently acquired Dialed In LE. Fun game but I don’t feel it will be a keeper for me so I might as well start to entertain trades while I enjoy it for a bit. Really want to work a trade for an MBr but am also interested in recent Stern releases.
