Quoted from chuckwurt:Young millennials have punted on the shift key too. I’ve never received a text from my daughter with a single capital letter. Haha
Not to split hairs, but she isn't a millennial, she would be what ever came after.

Quoted from chuckwurt:Really? Interesting. A new breed.
It is all semantics I know, but yeah here is a chart I found. There are tons out there though so there is no real consensus.
Back to stranger things I watched the stream last night and I thought the projector looked great. I'm looking forward to playing one.
Capture (resized).PNGQuoted from j_m_:see ghostbusters and batman 66 also
Also Guardians, Munsters, and Star Wars.
Quoted from gliebig:Huh. I've owned my POTC for almost a year and haven't yet to open the back box or lift the playfield. It's been worry free since day one.
On the flip side, I own a JJP Pirates and I'm still working on the plunger, the ship needed adjustment, my lowest pop bumper skirt keeps sticking, the Dauntless switch keeps getting stuck on, the lockdown button needed adjusting, and the trunk lock didn't open correctly open out of the box.
I'm a little turned off by it all, but at the end of the day sometimes these things need tweaking and some people will end up with a bad game from the factory. It sucks, but such is life.
Quoted from RGR:Guess you didnt mind the ball hitting the sling everytime it came down the left orbit
That sounds like a setup issue to me. I've played tons of games on location that hit the sling off of the orbit. Usually it is a pitch issue. I'm not saying it is, but is it just one game doing it or all Stranger Things?
Quoted from vicjw66:So it’s not even $20-$30 BOM? Do the people at Stern have no pride?
Is the bash toy on the upcoming TMNT going to get the nickname Pineapple anus?
I'm not trying to make excuses, but it is more thank just $20-30 BOM. There are development and coding costs for sure, and I imagine a whole host of other things that I as a non pinball manufacturers can think of.
Quoted from Rockytop:So many people on pinside seem so angry, bitter, and negative...like they can't wait to get furious about something.
I'm not directing this at anybody in particular...just speaking in general. That can't be a great way to live.
But the mod if you want. Don't buy it if you don't want. We're taking about a toy...it's just pinball and shouldn't be taken so seriously.
I'm just happy there is another cool thing to the game I didn't know about. I don't think Stern is making a ton on this mod (I could be wrong) This seems more like something cool they wanted to do, and found a way to make it happen.
I'm not saying they're perfect, no company is, but I'm grateful to Stern because I have a lot of fun with the products they make.
I guess I'm on the wrong side of this one then. I can't for the life of me figure out why this wasn't included in every machine. I'm not angry or bitter, just disappointed.
