To get this back on topic, I am definitely interested in this pin but I also can't justify the price knowing that it will be available for less in the not so distant future.     Hope CGC & Play Mechanics continue to make more titles like this in the future. Amen to that! This jump back to the true feel of classic pinball is a breath of fresh air. Considering how well the field test machines were received I'm sure used listings will not be terribly common at least in the near future. I will say with confidence that my LE will never willingly leave my collection once it arrives.

    The discontinuation of servos in all future modules is a smart decision. Reliability will improve a great deal. The scoops don't activate very often and those servos are relatively easy to replace, so that doesn't seem like a dealbreaker. We don't have a P3 anymore but I still like and support the platform. Might jump back in someday when the most wearable parts reach the point where they can take the punishment in an intense free play venue like ours.

    Slow your roll there cowboy. This day and age pictures are free. In the future, whenever you take anything apart on an EM, take many pictures from all different angles. I know exactly what part you are referring to but it will be awhile until I can look at it. After you get the player unit back together, I believe your problem may exist in a switch on the score motor. I’ll have to look at the schematic.

    I ended up hearing back from JJP support. They said no schematic available for the LE waterfall topper. Just for future record if your topper does this you're screwed. I tested the LEDs on the board and most are blown. I assume the design just caused them to burn out from being over driven. I'm not sure if I'll replace them or what at ths point.     I have a back to the future machine and the pop bumpers aren’t working they will register scores but all three will not fire and the bulbs will not light up. Upon further investigation of the machine the slingshots aren’t firing. The doc letters are not working either. Could use some advice please?

    Apologies for not updating the thread sooner. As some of you will already know, unfortunately Wade has had some family issues of late. That coupled with working through the various supply & product issues he's had with materials has set the playfield reproduction process back. Hopefully in the near future he will again be able to focus on playfield reproduction as his work is 2nd to none. He's keen to do Slick Chick as it's one of his favorite games.

    Only required for the first run. The next run will come with this installed. Haven't installed yet as time is always short lol. Bummer that this is a potentially required fix that is being addressed for future buyers with initial run customers left to sort it on their own though.     Just to say that now I'm back after a couple of weeks away I did replace all the lamp holders with ones with diodes and that has fixed the problem as a short term solution A DumbAss board would cost a lot including shipping and taxes to the UK, but I see (s)he does a whole range of useful boards so I may do a combination order in the future. In the meantime I have a lead on an original board here in the UK Thanks for the advice all those who commented

    Ribbon cable is irrelevant to entering diagnostics. You only need to be able to press D8 (enter). You can even short the appropriate pins at J205 if the buttons don't work. If you cannot enter diagnostics ... a new LM340T12 component yesterday, install it and the game is back up and running. Hopefully documenting the solution here can help others in the future. BTW, Rottendog did get back to me about a week after emailing them.
