Yay!!! Carryover ball locks on the SE code!! Woot! Now I MIGHT actually be able to launch Wonkavator multiball
I'm sure it's a setting that can be disabled on the SE for tournament play.
Thanks for listening, JJP!

Oh man I am so sorry for the damage! I feel sick watching this and hope the video has a happy ending.
Wow so sad to see that damage but it is really awesome that you used the opportunity to educate others on pinball ownership and buying. Another stand up example that shows Flipnoutpinball as a premier distributor. We are honored to support your efforts and business and hope others like what we created or will create soon. Many new ideas for such a beautiful game! Thank you again.
We need inventors to step-it-up and create the insta-foam box shipping container (envio-friendly biodegradable & easy to break down) that can encase any product!

Lol makes me think of those air bags in that iRobot movie. Full styro in seconds. lol

Yelobird can you make a Wonkatania boat that fits and mounts in the empty area in the upper left for the SE owners??
Maybe with a light effect that ties into the light effect of the Wonkatania mode ???
Thanks
Frank

That was the movie Thanks Gasoline! To funny. Yes we have a Wonka esk boat in the works just working out some motion detail.

Sweet. I ordered a few mods last night form the web site.
Quoted from NathanN:Finally a Wonks Review!!
I found that guy's voice and delivery very irritating, couldn't watch the whole thing, had to close it.

Ugh, the video is shot portrait but was uploaded wide screen.
Received my LE yesterday and it wasn’t a great experience. I love JJP games, but the lack of quality control has bitten me twice. All issues that can be remedied, though dropping $9,500 should buy a game that has been carefully inspected.
Chips on the wood by the head, stripped screws on the power cord cover, and a game that doesn’t work when turned on. Black marker or cut plastic can cover the chipping, the power cord cover can be fixed, and I’m sure that if I connect a keyboard and/or call support I can get the thing to boot. Better than the huge gouge in my WOZ RR when it arrived two years ago, but...
The groove near the top is normal on all production Wonkas - you can take a paint marker if you like and flow some paint into it or you can if you like get a small piece of t-molding and fit it in there. Go over all the connections in the head and see if something came loose in shipping.

That’s what I posted about the paint.
Eventually got to the boot screen after 3 restarts, so I don’t think it’s a connection issue. I’m assuming I can plug in a keyboard and get passed this screen. Correct?

I'd still reseat all connectors.
I had some pretty big QC issues with my DILE. It was made on a Friday. Led board a full cm of the drill guide.... Phone didn't work right.
Great company, and I would imagine it's tough to get good QC with the wages you have to pay to keep prices remotely reasonable.

Plus I don't think JJP has a full-time line, so they have to bring in assembly employees on a temporary basis, which makes it even harder to keep good people.

Thanks for posting about your experience. It sucks when things go a little sideways but you seem to have a very good attitude and I am sure this will be a thing in the past very soon.
Did you buy from a distributor(if so which one?, how have they been re: assisting with your issues?) or JJP direct?

It’s bricked and JJP is sending me a new motherboard and other parts. The company has been responsive, but support is at a loss since they haven’t seen this problem. Nothing on the playfield works, but the machine has 12v power. All connections checked and we ran through plenty of diagnostic exercises. Automated is the distributor and Mike is aware and ready to assist if I don’t get resolution quickly.
Quoted from Beez:SE vs LE ??????
Is it worth the upgrade to jump to the LE? #strugglebus (1st world problems lol)
No, it's not. Unless you MUST have the blue wireforms and the artwork. Then yes.

Compare list. Best is the Wonkavator.
LTG : )

It doesn’t seem like the game plays ANY different without the wonkavador and it’s 2k less right? Or am I missing something?

The SE plays great. With the exception of a lock that stops the flow of the game to put a physical ball up on the Wonkavator, the other changes on the LE are cosmetic (With the exception of the shaker motor and exterior volume control, both of which you can add later to your SE easily). You have to decide if those differences are worth another 2 grand for you. They were not for me.

They weren't for me either. The virtual Super Lock is just fine for me. I've already purchased the shaker motor and external volume control / headphone jack, and I will install them tonight. I don't need the invisiglass since the place where my pin in set up doesn't have any glare issues.
Quoted from FlipperFreak:Incorrect Clint. Our staff responded immediately and offered assistance and you chose not to respond. If you still need assistance contact [email protected]
Actually no not incorrect I have all the texts and Shane from Anaheim arranged to get Alex yo come out and fix my yellow brick road and the pirates !!!!
