After getting two free pins this weekend, another free pin arrived at my garage (delivered no less!) They did not break it down for transport, so that made me nervous, but it arrived intact so all's well that ends well I guess. Not my first Ed Krynski game, but my first Wedgehead! In pretty good condition overall, was kept in a hot area (rubbers melted), but the BG is ok with minor flaking.
Not sure where all this luck came from, I think I will go get a Mega Millions ticket right now to see if the luck holds out

picked up this lightly-used and nicely tuned example yesterday from another op who upgraded to a premium.
also used it as an excuse to hit an amusement [Oaks] park and eat some [Killer] burgers while in Portland for a few hours.
this should be back on location here in Tacoma sometime next week, unless i like playing it at home too much.

Nice pickup on the Foo.
If only you could’ve picked it up several decades earlier and then gone to Oaks park to ride the “small” version of one of the infamous Traver Triplets (although this would be a quadruplet).

I’m saving my coaster time machine for a ride on the Rye Beach Aeroplane; but, would settle for the Riverview Bobs and it’s insane collection of airtime.
The PNW is the one are of the country I haven’t collected any coasters. I need to get to the PNE Coaster and Silverwood for Tremors.
Quoted from jedimastermatt:The PNW is the one are of the country I haven’t collected any coasters. I need to get to the PNE Coaster and Silverwood for Tremors.
oh, wow, that would been quite the ride. there have been a few in the Portland and Seattle areas that didn't survive well in the NW climate.
Tremors is spectacular and in my top five wooden coasters, and Aftershock is no slouch either. Timber Terror and Stunt Pilot are also pretty good, and Corkscrew is worth riding for the credit of the first modern inverting coaster (i got it at Knott's back in the early 80's.) Silverwood itself is a nice, clean family park with a good water park included and worth a visit, especially for coaster enthusiasts.
There really aren't a lot of coasters up here, and with my trip to Oaks Park to get Adrenaline Peak and the (surprisingly fun) family coaster, i'm missing only the two at Enchanted Forest near Salem and the PNE Coaster in Vancouver which was designed by the grandfather of a friend of mine. If you happen to visit in the spring or fall when the Western Washington Fair is in swing, the Classic at the fairgrounds is well worth a few rides.
It's sad to live in such an amusement park poor part of the country, but then again, my front door is only an hour and a half from Mt Rainier or Olympic National parks...

Looks like no one will get into your BSD coindoor!
Finally got my cactus canyon today. Had to come back a day early from vacation to get it.
A big thanks to transprtr4u for giving me his LE spot, and coordinating the shipping of it, while I was away!

Lol! It arrived to me with the heavy-duty latch on the front - I dont think I want to know what it looks like without it
Games I’ve had with operator lock bars I’ll remove the metal piece and just put the carriage bolts back in the holes until a true repair is done. Much less visually obtrusive.
Quoted from Darkwing:TX-Sector Get!
Never heard of that pin - that looks like a really cool playfield layout. Going to have to look up some video of gameplay! Congrats...
Cleaned out a storage locker today and picked up 6 EMs… playfields for the most part look very nice, just need scrubbed from what I can tell so far. Couple of the back glasses are flaking, but Aladdin’s Castle, Sky Jump, and Far Out looks almost brand new. I just got the outsides wiped off and most of them on their legs. Other ones are now propped up on 2x4s to make sure they don’t get wet. I can’t say the floor gets wet out there, but I’m being safe. I don’t have keys… so I haven’t powered them on because I want to open them up first and check under the playfields. But yea, the Pioneer I bought a month ago is close to done, and these will all be next. Unless somebody wants them as is lol
List is:
Far Out
Sky Jump
Aladdin’s Castle
Pro-Football
Beat Time (Beatles knockoff)
Full House

Quoted from ita47:The Mrs. and I made a 11 hour round trip to pickup this beauty with only 295 lifetime plays on it! We had a good time, meet a new pinhead and found out he and I share the same birthday. Pretty cool!

Yes it is, that’s actually my Mame cabinet which I built from an old Atari Pole Position cabinet. My brother modified the Moon Patrol art for me. Notice it says Arcade Patrol.

Quoted from ringonu:Picked up Jungle Lord. I’ve been wanting it for a while. It needs a lot of love and possibly a hard top but it'll be worth it.
Great game. Be sure to rebuild those flippers. Finished the upper PF for my Jungle Lord, brought it home this weekend. Started repopping the lower PF.
Mine looks a little different than yours though.

He agreed to let me pick it up later then held it for me. He said it didn't work, but a quick reseat of the edge connector and it's just fine. It scrubbed pretty clean on the sides, but the CP is kind of lackluster. Thinking I'll powdercoat it and then apply a new overlay with new buttons. It seems nice enough otherwise to warrant throwing a couple bucks at it.

Nope, they had them in stock and I got the last set. They shipped out today and I should have them Wed.

Yup, I've got that and some buttons carted. I don't know if this will be a forever keeper kind of thing but I can't see myself not making the CP look nice. Would be a shame to leave it as it sits!

Why are there so many pins on Long Island? It doesn’t make sense. A fairly large operator must been out there at some point and sold everything off.
