Welcome back!
Hey all - What’s the consensus on Stern getting full Rush assets? Album art style like Zep or does Stern have an original artist doing this one?
Borg gets overshadowed by the Elwin and Eddy hype.
He makes my some of my favorite players with those mean, nasty, outlane drains.
Bring it on!!
Quoted from Kkoss24:We just purchased a Met Prem and flipping love it !
Good taste.
Rush next to MET = a sub in the middle.
I really like the sound of that.
Quoted from Rob_G:Maiden is just a tough game for me and that somewhat spoils the fun of it
Quoted from Gryszzz:Genius pf design I gotta admit, but frustrating AF for a novice player like myself
I get it boys, but Maiden is still my fav Elwin.
Rush could be an sweet change up and fit right in.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Still too early to tell for me, and Maiden was my 1st LE and 1st nib. But gotdamn...Godzilla might be better.
It’s a good pin, then again, I’d love a Maiden LE.
Quoted from Kkoss24:Was it always like this with the long wait in between teaser and sneak a peek ? Is this how the pinball gods created FOMO?
Yes, and yes.

The expression lighting on LZ was well done and good to see it can be an option for a pro again.
Nicely done package across all models.
Quoted from paul_8788:According to the feature matrix, the expression kit is available for both Pro and Premium. Says it is "96 intelligent RGBs", so assume it would be full color, not just white, but matrix could wrong.
You are correct. They are full color and coded quite well with the tracks on LZ.
Imagine it will be similar with Rush as an add on.
Quoted from beelzeboob:The clock from TZ, too. But the question for me is this: If there are really cool mechs from older games, what's wrong with reusing them and updating them into new games? I don't have a problem with that.
Same. As long as I’m not waiting forever to play behind someone like LOTR.
Quoted from Jamesays:I have a 12, a 10, and an 8 inch sub on different games the 8 inch is plenty and I cant really leave it anywhere near full volume without getting a knock on my door.I keep a box full of ear plugs by my door now.
Always fun to catch up with the neighbors again when these pins come home.
Hard to follow rules on stream but hope it all balances out.
Many lcd modern games are great visually but not always intuitive enough for both casuals and tournament players.
Godzilla has been on the right track.
Quoted from PinMonk:An open attitude and time are what you need, but there is no guarantee you will like their music in the end.
This is true. Heard their top few songs on radio, owned a cassette back in the day, but didn’t dive deeper into catalog until the last few years.
Now I’m bummed I’ll never see a Rush show.
Quoted from Bongiorno:Why no scoop protectors on the game? Come on man...
Quoted from Rarehero:It will ship with scoop protectors. Confirmed!
Watching the premium stream and found the insider connected pop up sound as annoying as the scoop eject.
Anyone know if this can be disabled or just muted?
Thanks!
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:Price is definitely up there for expression lighting. The premium should have had it. $600 is a lot for it. $499 would be easier to swallow.
Two things to watch with Sterns going forward:
-the precedent for removing real features out of a premium. Not just cosmetics.
-and potential dlc after a purchase.
Regardless of what it all may cost, hope Stern stays absolutely transparent about it up front.
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Hard to call the lights a real feature
Just curious, what should we call them if they interact with the game music and included prior?
FYI - If anyone has any filthy outdated coins or bills they are sick of please pm me immediately for my address.
Thanks, RUSH on!
Quoted from PinBalt:A change over to a RUSH Owner Forum. A while ago it was suggested to convert this Forum/ post into the official RUSH owners club at some point in the future. 1. When should that occur? Is that time now? 2. Any suggestions for the new name????
PinBalt
Usually when the first game ships.
With those Stern photos should be anytime now…
Congrats to owners!
Happy to see other fans finally get this title and hope to join soon.
Quoted from littlecammi:Maybe all models are waiting on improved coil stops?
Quoted from TinyBlackDog:Maybe they ran out of white flipper bats
Maybe we all need a beer.

Between Sun and Moon
CRIKEY!! What an amazing song!
The 1st five tracks on this album rule so hard I really haven't even gotten to side B yet ha.
Can't believe I never picked up this album until recently....shame!
Gryszzz you find your LE yet?
May have missed it. Good luck man
Quoted from shlt_thunder:Pinball doesn’t need reviews. It’s pinball. It’s fun.
Thanks for the write up!

I don’t know about the rest of you, but reading Gryszzz rediscovery-discovery RUSH journey is pretty damn infectious!!
What did folks think of the pro and premium now that both have been streamed?
Change any initial impressions at all?
Quoted from TinyBlackDog:Pro looks like a ton of fun but I think I’d miss the VUK return to the inlane. You can’t rotate the three mystery lanes with the flippers and the other two are fed by the ramps. On Prem/LE you can target each inlane with a specific playfield shot. Really like that
I didn’t miss tuck ramp initially but now makes sense with the mystery lane piece - thanks for mentioning it.
Was hoping to really get a better gauge of the ball lock features on premium but it didn’t really show as well.
That kid absolutely lit up the pro - fun to watch.
Quoted from aamauzy:Content locked to toppers seems like a logical next step.
Today you know what you are paying for up front on a pro vs premium purchase.
If this is the future direction, hopefully will be disclosed up front as well.
Likely won’t be - they sell out regardless.
Quoted from Gryszzz:I'm the only one in thus thread that admitted to saying "Purt" all my life.
I've known many, many Rush fans and honestly, I've never heard it pronounced correctly
WHAt?! I thought it was PERT!!!

Quoted from Gryszzz:The Big Money...Dude. That bassline absolutely fuckin rules.
Quoted from kool1:I don't have any Rush fan friends close by really so being here and combining Rush with pinball is pure nirvana for me!
Agree. This has been one of the best reveal threads connecting with fans. That’s what I love about finally having a Rush pin in the world.
Quoted from SkyKing2301:PSA: if you haven't watched and/or don't own Beyond the Lighted Stage, better watch it now -- just watched it with my son and Netflix warned us it's going away on Feb. 14!
[quoted image]The Pass, Presto, and Available Light are where it's at for me, absolutely love these three. Handful of other decent ones, and Hand Over Fist is one of my least favorite Rush songs.
Thanks for sharing. Absolutely loved this doc.
Quoted from calprog:I just played a RUSH pro here in So Cal. The protectors were a joke. We took the glass off three times to get the stuck ball out. Overall I was not impressed with the game play. Maybe the code is just not developed. The game is not even close to Godzilla. The music was great though!!! Hopefully they fix the scoop issue before they mfg the LE and Premiums. Overall first impression is disappointing. Hopefully the code improves and soon.
Played the pro for the first time today as well and at least we can agree the protectors were a joke which actually caused unnecessary SDTM drains.
The shots overall flow for days and feel great. Callouts were perfect knowing the humor of the band.
So excited that I decided to get in line for a premium for the additional features.
Quoted from gandamack:Too bad there is not a synthesizer keyboard that could be used as a bash toy. I think Neil would have appreciated that. (sorry post Moving Pictures era fans)
I think Alex would’ve appreciated that too.
He really was over them dominating by the late 80s.
Quoted from John-Floyd:I live about 15 min away from Stern
-excited is an understatement
John-Floyd waiting for LE near Stern factory…

Quoted from Rolls-Royce:Boob … LE’s …. February 25th for us The Canadians(Canadians like RUSH)
The 1,000 Limited Editions should have been just ours my dear American brothers and with the Canadian Flag on the apron …
All in with Canadians - Go Canada!!

Quoted from indypinhead:My distributor told me to expect delivery some time in the 3rd qtr this year.
Me too!!
The waiting begins!
Quoted from Gryszzz:THIS THREAD NEEDS MORE MADONNA
Perhaps an air dryer connection?
Six degrees of separation.
Quoted from swampfire:What are folks hearing from their distributors on Premium delivery dates? I was told “summer-fall”, but aren’t Premiums getting built in April? I hope they’re just being conservative with their estimate, I don’t blame them. And it’s worth waiting, if it means getting the “final” scoop fix.
I was told the same but hoping my batch timeframe may change with Stern announcing focus on Rush / DP / other recent titles etc.
Who knows.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Gonna mylar the WHOLE PF lol
Congrats! Always be prepared!

Definitely one of better looking Stern cabinets.
Wait till you see that backglass. Wow.
