    Quoted from AMartin56:

I bought a small house when my first wife divorced me in 2020 and it now houses my second wife and our two daughters from our previous marriages. With interest rates so high we aren't moving anytime soon. So my pinball room is VERY small....

Nice pin collection...and nice board game collection!

This is satisfying. While the room may be smaller, from the pics it does not feel cluttered. Organized and well thought out.

Just got Yoda for the game room but not sure how I can make him better. It would be cool if I could make his light saber light up somehow, but I don’t want to damage him too much and don’t want to see individual led lights. I thought about putting mini spotlights behind the light saber or have it shine on him? Is there another forum where I can ask these questions? Thanks

Some thick EL wire would work. Also there are separate acrylic diffusers that can go over led strips to smooth out the dots of light. However, there is a type of “neon” LED rope light that achieves this effect out of the box (but note the shape of the strand is somewhat keyhole instead of round).

Thanks. We got into the game late...I sold all of my previous machines back in 2019...so for the most part we couldn't find the official toppers. So we got into the habit of making our own.

Alternatively you could go for a duelling saber replica or a cheaper toy option that’s ready to go. https://www.damiensaber.com/products/damiensaber-lightsaber-jedi-master-yoda-green-lightsaber-force-fx-dueling-saber-short-hilt-18cm-no069

I'm still trying to figure out the whole CoinOpsX thing before I buy one. From what I gather the new update to the machines are not allowing those games anymore?

I'm running Coinops on it but I ignore the notifications to update. So it works but with some annoying messages at boot. Not sure how a new purchase would work...I've had it for a few years.

I also added a GRS 4/8 way switcher to both joysticks.

I have the perfect solution for you..I've been using these flexible 'neon glow' led bendable deals for 3 years now..I think these would fit in that tube perfectly (if you roll it out and don't bend it first)..uses a 5v USB wallwart to get power. I use these in a few pins for backlighting the back box or other mods that need this..including adding these to existing, real neon signs..check it out! mine are older, and only 3 ft long, so if you can find that size, i think you'd be golden..all different colors as well. https://www.amazon.com/vimeepro-Flexible-Waterproof-Backlight-Cabinets/dp/B0B8YWB76T/ref=sr_1_8

this is EXACTLY what he needs in that lightsaber I posted about this same product (you can get a 3 foot section, plug/play btw), then I saw your link and yeah, this stuff I use for lots of different mods, even backbox lighting in my RfM..great from game room accents as well. I actually 'add' these to existing real neon signs.

This is the upstairs at 4 hands brewing in STL, they have one pin, 2 skeeballs, 4 or 5 arcade games, they're all on the left of this shot....nothing special but I LOVE LOVE the way this is laid out, the old factory building, exposed brick and wood, just the whole thing. I'd obviously prefer 90% less tables and shit and 90% more pinballs and other cool crap in there, but anyway. Random pic of what IS a game room, just not my game room, or ONLY a game room so it qualifies sort of.

Look up atomic pinball on Facebook. They are just outside of St Louis. Over 100 pins, probably 30-40 arcade machines. And he’s working on a bunch of EMs for the lower level. Watch this video on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/share/v/sPg55iaFFHVVtxVE/?mibextid=5SVze0

Yep, that would make a great space to fill with a bunch of pins and arcade machines.

+1 for Atomic Pinball Arcade, Chuck’s done a great job with the new building. It’s a lot better than the three smaller separate buildings he had.

I've been on here 3 yrs, and realized I've never posted in this thread. This is my current lineup + a few projects not pictured. 6 is my limit in this space....7 if they're pushed tight together. I'd like to get another 90's era, maybe a STNG or BSD, then either another solid state or an EM to round things out.

I made them. Its a pretty simple design. I posted a thread about them a while ago. They definitely work great for the kids. I need to make a few more so every machine can have one.

Sega Godzilla is a fun pin. Sega had a knack for making fun, accessible pins based on some so so big budget projects. JP Lost World, Frankenstein, Baywatch, Batman Forever. You could have an all-Sega lineup that would be a great collection for parties.

And don't forget Space Jam, that's quietly one of their best and would rank right up there with the B/W 90's lineup. I'd love to see some kind of vault or remake of it - the licensing might even be doable, since its only Jordan and Warner, it's not the NBA or any other players.
