The Good
Works. Vidiot board functional with no errors.
Cab is solid.
Monitor is clear.
Bezel and marquee in great shape (marquee has a small amount of black paint loss which would be an easy touchup)
Comes with new side art.
Comes with new CPO art.
Comes with new play field protector.
The Bad
Missing coin mechs.
Monitor blue channel is not working. Have replacement RGB chips.
Audio is flaky. Needs new pots for volume adjustment.
3 wear spots on play field. You could just throw the protector on and live with them or touch them up before installing.
Some dings in the cab
Door interlock switch doesn’t engage every time the door is closed. I might just need to be mounted closer to the door. Right now I have it taped down.
Game is currently has a play field tear down. Everything is bagged (took a bunch of photos along the way). I can put it back together if needed although I would suggest continuing with the process. Overall in nice shape. The extra art and protector along with some light work should bring this back to a nice version.

OP: This machine has been sitting in my "project stash" for a while now and I know I will not have time to mess with it anytime soon so I decided to list it for sale to see if there was any interest in it as it sits. (I just managed to grab a nice translite and decent apron for it last week).

Machine is "fairly complete" but is untested because it has about 7 or 8 coils cut out of it. MPU needs a little work but doesn't appear to have any battery damage, I have 3 or 4 of the "missing coils" (maybe more) but they will need to be installed before even trying to boot this machine up to see what else it might need.

Playfield, translite, and cabinet are super nice cosmetically. Apron has some rust but is still in OK condition. So with a few hours work this could be a very nice machine and if you found a nicer apron it could be near "collector quality" once finished.

I am going to "mess with it more" over the weekend and hope to get some pictures posted early next week but wanted to get it listed ASAP so I am listing it prior to taking pictures or having it assembled.

Priced for "quick sale" at $900. If I start working on it price will go up accordingly. Price will include any coils & coil stops I can find between now and when it is sold. I know I have at least 3 of the "missing coils" but might have even more.

Machine needs some repairs to return to functional use and a replacement lock. Great addition to any man cave or she shed.
Currently the flipper solenoids are not working and the scores aren't displaying. Last summer a repairman stated that the machine needed $350-400 in repair work to restore all function and the cylinder key needs replacement

Tempting but the one I have is pretty sweet and I'll leave it for someone else to pickup. I'll never get back to restoring Flash Gordon and working on my Laser War topper or shaker on Torpedo Alley if I keep picking up random pins.

That’s heartwarming. You should invite him to come play it sometime, or perhaps extend an invite to the nearest local pinball show. I’ve done that to several locals I’ve bought games from. You won’t be a nuisance. If they’ve owned a pinball machine for that long, and sold it, usually they didn’t have the skills to fix it, but otherwise genuinely enjoy the game!
