Just to freak people out I think Stern should photoshop in a game with a DeLorean just in the background. Or have just a peek of the logo for "Back" in the corner of the photo. Stern gets trolled enough I feel like it is fair for them to do it back.

I sure hope it's no scam. Positive indicators are that he's been very communicative (email, website chat and phone call) throughout the process. Including him saying he believes mine will ship today (order placed 10/22) and he'll provide tracking as soon as he has it.
Have also seen posts from him here on PS.
Anyway, I'm protected by credit card so we'll see.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, operators (and notice it's only Pros), GOTG still earns well on location according to a couple operators around here. License is king for casuals.
In my experience it's usually the women who notice GOTG and drag over the bf/husband to play it. Chicks still dig Chris Pratt.

As far as we know …yes.
In all honesty, besides Stranger Things Premium this is the last game that was to be built and shipped by years end that we haven’t received yet and there are still several a few weeks left in this year. We have not heard otherwise about it being delayed until 2024.
Kudos to Stern for cranking out several makes and models throughout the year and giving us a TIMELINE of what and when we will receive said titles. Yes it may change a few weeks here or there but it’s pretty accurate.
I wish I could say the same for the other manufacturers that are slow as molasses and give us little to any real true timeframe as to when we will actually get games that have been preordered for months and in some cases years.
Crazy that it takes Stern 2 weeks for a physical inventory. Also, weird that their production schedule seems so haphazardly changed because they didn't have the parts they thought they had in inventory. Not saying it's wrong but a bit jarring for a company that is a machine on almost everything they do.
It'd be a fun and interesting problem to put some more sophisticated inventory management techniques in place to keep things on schedule and lines always moving.

Many manufacturers take a holiday break. It’s easier to have everyone on the floor gone at one time. You can’t run a line with 60% of the workers. So I don’t see it as 2 weeks of inventory management as much as a plant end of year shut down with an inventory count.

Ah, that makes sense and hopefully you're right and all the Stern employees on the floor get a nice break to be with their friends and family.

It would have to be soon, as they are shutting down the last two weeks of Dec for inventory and holidays.

I'm an operator who had two GOTG pros until recently, down to one now. It's not holding it's own in my locations against the newer games generally speaking. I was very surprised with the re-run announcement, but consider that maybe the license was revisited to do an LE re-issue of it?

Unfortunately all Stranger Things accessories got bumped to January 2024 for production, so you’ll most likely have your games before your mods. This is a bit of a bummer for us as many preorder customers were hoping to have us install their UV Kit prior to delivery and that looks to not be the case now.
