I'm in the same boat...would like to trade my Police Force also for a Taxi or Whirlwind + cash, down the road. Police Force was a Christmas gift a couple years back for the wife, but she never got into it, so I'm just writing it off as a failed attempt at a gift. I put more plays into my other machine, Slugfest. There's just something satisfying with hitting home runs and grand slams...lol.
I'd rather get machines that are played over quantity. My philosophy is that machines were meant to be played...they are entertainment devices.

It's kind of nuts. If the metro got all snow, even a 12 to 1 snow-liquid ratio would have netted two feet of snow over the two days.

I’m grateful it was rain. In my area, we had 2.60” in 48 hours. With that ratio, 30” of snow would have been similar to our 1991 Halloween snowstorm (28.4”). Crazy

Cannot overstate how delighted I was to not have to constantly fret, flail, and freak out about aging parents and transportation.
Cannot overstate how after 50 winters in MN, I get almost within 20 degrees F of a Christmas in San Francisco.
Cannot overstate how appreciative I've been this year of our Official Wisconsin-Minnesota thread. It's active, it's helpful, and it's full of folks who want to make pinball fun and accessible for everyone in our area. Rad.

Xmas Eve was BONKERS. We did 975 plays in ten hours across eight machines, and only had one LED catch on fire and one major mech fall apart!

I was just talking to a Hoosier today and I suggested he introduce himself on his own regional thread, only we weren't able to find one for him! I finally suggested he find an active Pinsider or two from Indiana and ask them if there is any kind regional thread for the state.
