Nordman indicated the center post raises when hitting the tank dead on, as he didn't want to just kill you with SDTM rebounds. It will come up/stay up less as you defeat tanks and go to higher levels.

But then on Neils's video the player looks to score a center hit and die SDTM with no sign of the post, soooo...

Maybe I misunderstood and you need the full methane level special tank shot that Rosh mentioned, and hit the specific lit "one shot kill" target to get the post up?

Watching the live stream. I respect what Dennis was going for, but my opinion it was a waste of resources to make the tank cabinet.

But they did redeem themselves with the stunning regular models.

At least they're presenting their logic well.

Love it or leave it, it makes sense to them, and I'm glad for that.

Marketing 101 is having a thick skin and not showing people how much detractors are bothering you. I've been trying to avoid most of the pile-on and just read along here, but I think the "oh look at pinside rabble rabble" comes off as unprofessional.

I have options on where to take my money, and a company's public-facing comments matter to me. It's good knowledge to have if the head of the company actively looks down on some of the audience, I think.
