Quoted from jsa:That was it. The switch tested fine but upon close inspection could be occasionally rolled over without triggering. Just a little bending and it became reliable.
Glad you figured it out. Enjoy

PM if interested.
So im testing the market. I can make this ramp guide plastic out of metal and powdercoat it brass aka gold, metallic genie blue, chrome etc. I was thinking 10 for brass 8 for everything else. Is this something you guys would be intetested in. It'd be a fix all for this plastic that commonly breaks
Quoted from Robertstone0407:Is this something you guys would be intetested in.

Quoted from Robertstone0407:Ok ill cut some this week
Thanks. Thats such a good idea and really great to offer this.
Im looking for some help with my Totan- the ball trough is constantly loading two balls or reloading a ball when in play. Any clue what I should be looking for to resolve this?

Yes. The optical boards in the trough. If you need help, I’m in SJ and can help you. Look at switch test and see how those trough switches are working.

Quoted from jsa:I'm not excited about the alternative translites. The original artwork isn't very good, but the alternatives don't feel like they match the time and artwork of the game to me.
Totally agree...the original is great all the alternates look tacky. Stay original my friends!

Over seas itll be 13 plus shipping. Pm me if you want one and never have another broken plastic. All will have several coats and never chip or i will replace for free
I've got two TOTAN questions, related to a game I've been working on:
1) more often than not, the fireball magnet catches & then immediately releases the ball into the wireform. My memory is that it should hold the ball for a few seconds before releasing. Is this variable, depending on what else is going on in the game? (For instance, if the ramp is lit for some other function, such as to collect a jewel. Or is my magnet weak? I measured the resistance at 7-8ohms, whereas the other magnets in the game come in around 11-12ohms, but I'm not sure what's normal or if it makes a big difference.
2) most (all?) of the flashers in the game are used in a fading/dimming capacity. All the other lamps on this game have been replaced with LEDs. Are there LED flashers that are compatible with dimming? And relatedly, are any of the game GI or controlled lamps also used for fading/dimming?

My TOTAN holds it for about two beats before releasing it.

While I use the GI OCD and LED OCD boards with my TOTAN, as the whole game has dimming effects for both GI and the inserts. In fact, more so than almost any other game I've seen, so you need these boards for TOTAN. This solves the problem for those strings. You raise an interesting question, however, for flashers...While I replaced my flashers with CT "Super" flashers (not premium), and I see dimming effects on them, I'm actually not sure if they are included in the normal GI or insert path. Perhaps herg can answer this one?

Does anyone have an extra (or not), TotAN flyer and would be willing to part way with? I want one for myself!
Just curious what these for for as I will have one for sale soon. It's unshopped and fully working. Home sale from the early 2000's. Cabinet has dings on front and is faded. Translight is very nice. Pf very nice as well. Thanks in advance jr!

My guess is that it's a flipper code entry. And you've never entered it in.

Then the million dollar question would be: what's that flipper code?

Let me try another approach...
Would someone be kind enough to send me a hi-res scan of the flyer?
