Boobs and booze.
That's not getting past a lot of wives. Good luck getting this in your basement married dudes.

You must have some lame-ass married dudes for friends, my man.....with some lame-ass wives...

If it is fun and NOT an Oktoberfest business simulator I, as a German and a beer lover, will throw them my money the day gameplay footage, preferably done by Jack Danger, is published.

They hinted at the fact that there *is so much more to Oktoberfest* than people imagine. Hence i hope they do not mean the business behind it etc. I want campy fun, not have to hit left ramp 5 times to get a tent license at the fairgrounds. .. lol

On second thought.... if they turn it into a "Theme Hospital" kind of 'build your business' game... they would undoubtedly have my attention as well if it is quirky enough. That I would play the crap out of.

If that awesome right "corkscrew" wire form only gets used to release multiballs that seems like a huge waste / disappointment to me. Hopefully it's more that that. Great looking game and definitely a pretty unique layout and set of features, if this is $7K MSRP like Houdini I think the buyer is getting a let of relative value for their pinball buck.

You must hate Deadpool and Lord of the rings....

Let me just say that I am first in line with one of APs bigger distros for OkF, have been for weeks, but right now I already have one pinball machine whose cheap looking art is all over the place, namely Full Throttle, I will not add another to my lineup, no matter how great the game.

My money is ready, I want this pin, and I only hope that they will drop all photoshop art and go with the hand drawn art style exclusively. On the playfield.
The rest is great, the animations and music are all down to code updates and licensing of the preferred music (which I bet was what keeps them at this point from adding all ze jermahn kraut favorites).

But playfield art I cannot update at a later point, this needs to be a homerun come shipping day.

Please AP, do what JJP did, listen to your customers and fix the playfield art package.

Nobody knows what AP will be doing with alternate art because they are just deciding. So all suggestions are welcome.
I would like to see 110% of the art redone - including playfield and backglass.

The are is what keeps me from purchasing.
I have the money ready, slot nr1 with one of the distros, but am waiting on a new comprehensive art package including the playfield

For all those disagreeing with me..... are YOU buying?
Didn't think so....

I consider Octoberfest to be API's 15th machine. Reasoning:

Yes...and Magic Girl was Zidwares 6th game

Quoted from spoke:

I'd like to know what you are smoking and where I can get some.
Sure, the animations are certainly not JJP, but from what I have seen so far, they are certainly better then pretty much any dots I have seen. Makes it hard to take you seriously when you make such an over the top statement like that.

You are choosing not to read as you get a hard on from being a troll. Whatever makes your day, knock yourself out.

Ben commented not about technological advances, he commented that there were better artists at work with most of the dot work of the past than what is offered by AP right now with 'fest. No reason to get defensive. It is what it is.

Quoted from Roostking:

Seems he just uses his platform that you all give him to tear down things he doesnt like, or will stir the pot, needlessly. Whatever, your time to waste.
Have you played Oktoberfest? He hates it(although not sure what makes him an expert) but do YOU have a thought.

Not like you are not using this forum to spew your hate.
