Dick Debartolo wrote a great book, Good Days And Mad about his time with WM Gaines .

Also, he was one of the writers on Match Game.

You know you are old when.....You think Marijuana now smells awful, but you were totally fine with it when you were young.

Hasn't it changed? I've never smoked but when i was young and would get a whiff at a concert, I thought it smelled kind of nice. Now it smells exactly like a dead skunk.

Im pretty sure you would find some old school outdoor weed grown "naturally" smell like when you were young.

    #7426 45 days ago

You know your old when the only weed available where you live is way too strong for you to smoke it.

    #7427 45 days ago

Cheap weed doesn't smell very good. But the high class stuff is pretty amazing.

    No stems or seeds that you don’t need;
Acapulco Gold is… bad ass weed!

You know you're old when you remember and appreciate Cheech & Chong

I still have the rolling paper in the Big Bamboo album.

I did till we actually used it.

Years after everyone was listening to CDs and MP3s, I dug out my Beatles White album, opened it up and found a couple lonely dried out seeds.

Since the statue of limitations is over, I had a roommate in college whose buddy went to college in Hawaii. He used to walk the hills and steal weed in the early 80's. Shipped it over here via USPS express overnight mail. The post office would call when it arrived and we would pick it up at all hours. We always wore Hawaiian shirts and claimed the boxes contained them we were selling. Usually 3-4 lbs of kick ass shake and we kept the buds. 4 finger ounces of shake we sold for $60, halves $35. Very lucrative back then.

I’m not sure. Will get up to go check… later…

Best weed I ever encountered, Belize Breeze.
Wonder if they still sell it? It was primarily blue.

As a guy, I know I’m getting old because that freaking prostate is starting to act up. Ugh!

    #7444 45 days ago

I went to see Dune 2 at the theater, and went to the bathroom halfway through. Another old guy walked in at the same time. We unzipped, stood at our urinals for a full minute staring at the wall, and finally there was a sad little trickling sound. That’s how you know you’re old.

Advisory: If you have sinus problems and take some of the over the counter antihistamines so you can breathe, be aware that those OTC medicines can affect how your urinary tracts operates.

Public service announcement ( since it is not in the fine print on the box. Or it is in the fine print that tired old eyes can't see to read).

The back story: My boss (35 years ago) was going into surgery because he could not pee. As he was on the gurney being rolled into surgery his doctor asked him if he was taking any medications. Boss said he was taking some brand of OTC drug. The doc said "that's it" and turned the gurney around. No surgery.

In my case, it is unfortunately prostate cancer, an old man’s disease. I wish my issues were due to OTC drugs.
