Just got home and played a few games of my Star Wars pro. The game is so much more than I expected and I am really happy I got it over The Munsters.
Sending out a good guy thank you to Thedarkknight77 for meeting me this morning!
Quoted from kermit24:The current Pinball Life shaker motors are great. If you do a group buy you can get 6+ for $65, so best to coordinate.

Bowtech, I just got a Pro and I would down for a shaker. If we 4 more people, they are $64.97 each. Thanks for the tip Kermit24!
Quoted from kermit24:Yeah if you are close that's great. Otherwise not really a great deal to reship them.
I forgot these babies have some weight to them.
So I have owned my Pro now for about 27 hours now and I noticed something that bothers me. At 2 different times they refer to Padawans and Younglings. Should those even be included in a game focused on 4, 5 and 6?
Quoted from kermit24:This has been addressed. Yes you are right those terms did not originate in 4,5, or 6. But, if 1,2,3 was actually a true prequel, Using the terms is passable.
When you say it has been addressed, addressed where here or with Stern?
I am wondering if they would remove the language from the next system update if it were pointed out to them. Next thing you know Jar Jar Binks will be making call outs in the game. LOL. Oh the humanity.
I am hoping Steve Ritchie will be Pintastic New England. Maybe ask him if it was an oversight and would they be willing to remove it. Normally the guys from Stern are pretty friendly. I think they like to hear feedback about their babies. I love my pro model and I always loved ST Pro as well. Steve should be proud!
Quoted from Rensh:Joined the club. A co-buy with a friend of me.
Your 2 spot lights are facing the wrong direction. They should point towards the Falcon. You will see how it lights up the playfield when you adjust them. I had a tighten my screws a few times until I finally got it to stay in place.
Quoted from Psw757:Every picture I’ve seen shows them facing parallel to and in between the ball drop and hyper space loop.
Are you saying intended position should put at approximately 45 degree and with them pointing at Death Star mission I and III inserts?
I grabbed this pic from a few posts back. See how much it lights up the Falcon and the playfield. My SW was doing the same thing. The spot lights keep moving.
Quoted from zaphX:I recently moved both to face forward under the guise this was the correct orientation.
Is that not the case?
This picture is from the flyer for the pro model. If you look at the spot lights, they are facing almost straight, but the Falcon is well lite. In reality, if you point you spots like this, that area is dark. I suspect they took this pic with professional studio lights.
Bottom line is you own the game and can do what you want to it.
Personally I think its too dark with the lights pointed the way they are in this picture.
Quoted from kermit24:Do you have 1.05 installed? I think this was an issue with earlier code.
Yes, I am running 1.05.0
Quoted from kermit24:Send this to Stern. [email protected] Jerry Thompson (sound guy) could fix this in like 5 minutes. Sounds like a couple of the audio files are a little hot. The big question is how long until the next update so we can hear it.
I sent them both just now. Thanks for the link.
Quoted from stenbough:Help! My new pinball machine is acting funny and I haven't got a clue what it could be. The right slingshot will occasionally activate multiple times when being hit (and sometimes spontaneously even when it's not hit).
My pro started doing that after I replaced the rubber. I just pushed the left contacts apart a little bit more and it solved the issue. Easy enough fix
Does anyone know what part # this rubber is? When I bought my pro, the owner before changed a bunch of rubber, but it was light blue and didn't match. Plus some of it was cracking and looked brittle, so I replaced them.
I can't seem to identify this rubber bumper shown in my picture. The Stern manual doesn't even mention it at all.
The #4 that is close to the location is the rubber under the plastic (part # 545-5348-06).
