Well this is...different.
Holy cow, a NIB EM. It's a Bingo, but still...pretty cool.

ha!! wonder what he was asking for it? He's still gonna get an overwhelming response just for that title alone. Don't mean its gonna sell.

He was asking 1500

Seems like it was 1200 or so originally.
[Edit: never mind - see above post.]

Price drop on Sea Ray. I guess it's still there.
Although it's the SS version, a $300 Joker Poker is a great deal!
A Gottlieb Atlantis for $780, ad is less than 30 minutes old. Kinda far for me, so passing it along! Looks very nice.
Quoted from NextoPin:Dirt, can you just start a RSS feed or something I can subscribe to LOL
That would take all the fun out of the hunt now, wouldn't it?
If you can fix a pinball machine, you can fix a car.
A couple of nights ago I hopped in my Tacoma to go to the store. The shifter was locked in park. I removed the console with four screws and manually released the shifter. I have been driving around like that for two days now. I finally got around to fixing it and found that it was just a fuse.
I subscribe to this thread by replying every week or so so it stays at the top of my feed. So now you know my dark secret.

One was a '78 SS World Cup (I think), and the other was an EM, which I now can't remember! I think it said it was missing the backglass (or that might have been a different ad; it's all so much a blur).

I've had a nice original KOD for about 8 years now - I got it from the Chicago area too. Mine didn't get far from the factory..........
Quoted from AlexF:Oh, you said you missed it. I though maybe you pursued but didn't get it.
Maybe should have said missed the ad?

You need that!
Quoted from DirtFlipper:You need that!
I already made that trip way up into northern Wisconsin a few weeks ago to get that Captain Card and Pop a Card. That trip was exhausting.........
Back to Atlas - '59 was around the time they were transitioning from woodrails (Atlas head) to metalrails (Atlas cabinet). Although I'm not a big fan of 2-player wood/metalrails the price is right for someone more local like Alex.......
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Not sure I like the art
I'm guessing Gottlieb used Charles Atlas for the theme of this one so what you see is what you get.
Charles Atlas, born Angelo Siciliano (October 30, 1893[1] – December 23, 1972), was the developer of a bodybuilding method and its associated exercise program that was best known for a landmark advertising campaign featuring Atlas's name and likeness; it has been described as one of the longest-lasting and most memorable ad campaigns of all time.[2]
According to Atlas, he trained himself to develop his body from that of a "scrawny weakling", eventually becoming the most popular muscleman of his day. He took the name "Charles Atlas" after a friend told him he resembled the statue of Atlas on top of a hotel in Coney Island[3] and legally changed his name in 1922. His company, Charles Atlas Ltd., was founded in 1929 and, as of 2010, continues to market a fitness program for the "97-pound weakling" (44 kg). The company is now owned by Jeffrey C. Hogue. In 1921, Bernarr MacFadden, publisher of the magazine Physical Culture, dubbed Siciliano "The World's Most Perfectly Developed Man" in a contest held in Madison Square Garden[5][7] He soon took the role of strongman in the Coney Island Circus Side Show.

Someone got real creative on that Formica countertop Lockdown Bar replacement.
I kind of like the art and a similar layout to Gottlieb's Rocket Ship. With that said it's still 2.5 hours away and I'm full up.
I like games like this though. At $250 you can experience a new game with no real commitment. Once shopped out with a proper lock down bar, it could add enough value to come out ahead when you get bored with it.
Wait, I didn't notice the metal rails at first. I wonder if this is one of those weird operator upgrades to "modernize" the cabinet. Makes you wonder if that goofy lock-down bar was part of a kit.
I'm just guessing but it looks they they did a run of cabinets with the normal metal rail and they probably had some woodrail heads already produced?
I had a Queen of Diamonds with a metal rail conversion to go over the wood. It was much more bulky looking because it had to go over the wood rail and so it was wider on top. Let me see if I can attach a pic (probably not - waiting to hear back from Robin)

And now I see how some woodrails have marks down the sides where the metal rails have been taken off again!

I did it to this Queen of Diamonds too. Looks much better/more original - even with the old holes/marks.
