I would have paid the 725 just for the North Star playfield. I would have told him to keep the rest. Oh how I wish Wade would do a repro for North Star.

Some guys like that look.

Some guys like that look.

Maybe so, but I think this guy is trying to squeeze a little more money out of the buyer. "Some LEDs to make it POP"...whatever!

Attention EVERYONE...LEDs do NOT belong in an EM Pinball machine. (and I am a very large fan of LEDs)

I'm with ya 100%

I've dealt with the guy in Lower Burrell several times over the years. Nice guy and easy to deal with. He buys, repairs, sells as a hobby.

I fully agree on the LEDS.

Damn that's close too me, wonder how much the jungle queen was..,

#8076 9 years ago

I don't understand the hate for LED's in an EM. I can see not putting them in there if there are power issues that would cause them to strobe and flicker but as a way to get color into an old insert, plastic or backglass seems like a good idea.

Pins, especially of the EM era were designed to be cheap to manufacture so they just used regular white bulbs instead of colored but we have access to new cheap energy efficient bulbs. I would think if they were available as an option back when they were built, they would have used them.

Not every EM would look good with them, and placement and intensity needs to be considered but I don't see what the big deal is, it's not like it's a permanent modification that can't be undone.

To each their own I suppose.

A Royal Guard Gottlieb pinball machine in good condition. Made in 1966, this pinball was seen in this year's Burning Man. For 9 Crazy Days, we played pinball, and danced with the Man.

That chick with the strange stockings needs to get her facts straight, Royal guard was made in 1968, not '66

jerseyshore.craigslist.org link

Shoulda, shoulda, shoulda, shoulda..... yeah, I shoulda been there. The "Cue Ball" went for $330. Of course if I was there I could have gotten involved in a bidding war, but my ceiling for that game would have been considerably higher.
(Is that the correct way to spell "shoulda"?)

#8090 9 years ago

Coulda.

#8091 9 years ago

...........instead of a pinball bum........!

#8092 9 years ago
Quoted from jrpinball:

That was a deal for someone if it was intact and not badly worn.

Quoted from jrpinball:

Sounds fine to me,as far as spell check goes it fails but its fluent text, thats all that matters.
