My first pinball that I remember playing - Bally Eight Ball. On local CL.
Hilarious price for the condition. My opinion - worth around $500. Where do they get these prices?

    #2 9 years ago

haha! Look at that wear on that PlayField! Its like above retail.

    #3 9 years ago

I'd say $500 is top limit if everything works.

    #4 9 years ago

I think you can ad this one to the list too.....CC for $2K .....um yeah, sure.

yeah...absolutely no contact info, just an address to show up with cash

    #6 9 years ago

A guy here has benn selling Evel Kneivel for 2750 for 2 years now. Not in great shape.

My sister lives out in CA and she forwarded that to me this morning asking if I wanted her to go look at it for me. I told her not to waste her time. If by some off chance it was a real ad, someone is going to get a hell of a deal!!

Who is Benn? And why is he asking $2750 for an Evel Knevel?

    Laser Ball for $4k LOL

    burlington.craigslist.org link

    #12 9 years ago

the laserball is at least HUO and super clean.

the pirate home unit is hilarious.

that 8 ball max 7-800 in that condition.

    6-24000 what pennies? lol

    #13 9 years ago

In the zizzle pirates ad I like how he lets you know that you could offer more than the $1000 he's asking to insure you get it. Or you could go and buy 4 NIB ones for the $1000 you're going to spend on this used one.

I sometimes wonder if people just do quick searches for pirates pinball and don't notice the difference between their zizzle home model and the full sized commercial one. Of course, I wouldn't pay $6-$24K for the commercial one either.

The only way I could see a Laser Ball being worth 4k is if it included $2500 in the cashbox - regardless of condition.

    #15 9 years ago

I guess I have a soft spot for laserball and the lady in red! lol

    Some go for $6-24,000!

We get some ridiculous craigslist ads here but this might be the greatest ad I have ever seen. I usually laugh pretty hard at just at the run of the mill Ddemolition Derby Collectors Item RARE!!!!!!!!!! pinball machine for $500 but this takes the cake.

    #20 9 years ago

Here you go....worth a laugh for the location alone.

Theres people stupid enough to buy it, so why not price it high.

    #24 9 years ago

I had this zizzle years ago, I bought it for $100 bucks, put in LED's in the backboard after some modification. Then it started not working, so I posted an ad saying trade for gumball machine and it wasn't working. So that's what happen after a week a guy called said he had a carousel gumball machine, 100% working in good condition. I told him about this zizzle, he said he was gonna gut it and design his own theme. We did the trade, and had the gumball machine for 6 years now. Brand new they were $250.

    #25 9 years ago

This are all great. People are crazy. Wonder if they are just trying to rip someone off or if they are just clueless.

There was a $200 non-worker meteor that didn't look to be in bad shape here in Houston this week. Sometimes it cuts the other way.

    Laser Ball for $4k LOL
    burlington.craigslist.org link

that's funny right there. Laser Ball was one of the 2 games I actually lost money on back in the day. Had $275 into it. Fully working , freshly shopped, in good shape all around. Couldn't get $250 for it.

    #34 9 years ago
    Quoted from dothedoo:

I would have too had I had room. I have two racing arcades coming in this weekend and am completely out of room.

Dammit, after watching the TNT Amusements video on youtube, it would have been a cool piece to grab.

Douche. You, not the CL guy. The CL guy is overpriced, yes, but how the f--k can anyone look at that and even joke it would be worth more as firewood than preserving, other than a lame attempt at humor..

Now that's funny and so is this:

Another laser ball originally posted for $250 last week.
I replied and was told I am in a bidding contest and the current bid is $1500.
The next day I got a call because no one else showed up!

How about a nice "Charlie,s Angels" for $6800? I'm just guessing it's nice, based on the price. Not much other info in this ad other than a bad stock photo.

Although not a seller, I like this one.

    http://www.kijiji.ca/v-toys-games/city-of-toronto/wanted-pinball-machine/1017505135?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

Especially this bit: "I can do renovations, paint, bring your daughter to prom, walk your cat and cook a mean lasagna."

This one has caused me to click a few times (I can never remember what it is from the title).

    Disappointed every time.

I don't know why I should be disappointed, after all, it has all the bells and whistles. Really? All the whistles? Must be a good deal then.
