Quoted from chubtoad13:That would be nice. I wonder how faster cpr could make play fields if they were given all the artwork.
I don't think they could make 55 per day.

Quoted from Kiwipinhead:Sorry, but for 10k US this is an issue, to me its a manufacturer defect, here is a picture of one insert with 2 days play and is getting worse the more plays it gets
Ooooffffff Mikey. That's terrible. Send it back.
rd
Quoted from Kiwipinhead:Thats not mine RD. Its an Aussie LE. Kim and mine are still 2 weeks away. But this isnt a good sign.
Hows your GoT playfield?
See ya sunday
Will there be a GB pin to play
Oh, I thought it was your one. I certainly wouldn't be happy if that was my new $15,000 LE "collectors" machine. F that.
Luckily my GOT Playfield is fine, no issues at all. Great game.
Unlikely to be any GB machine in my house any time soon.
rd
Well, someone had to do a Hitler video about it ....
http://captiongenerator.com/100017/Hitler-not-happy-about-his-new-Ghostbusters-pin
Someone cleverer than me might like to put it on YouTube so the IPhone guys can see it ... (The captions don't show up on iPhones for some reason...)
rd
Quoted from Kiwipinhead:That is classic! I couldn't stop laughing
Well done.
You almost got a mention.
rd
Quoted from RobT:Hey, I don't *just* talk about cars on Pinside. I make a post here and there about pinball once in awhile too.
Yeah sorry, I should have put "mainly cars".
rd
Quoted from iceman44:That Hitler video is hilarious RD, needed a good laugh!
And thanks for providing me with some great material to work with.
rd
Quoted from iceman44:Boom box rocking, beer flowing and turning on a brand new pin for the first time.
Don't wear out that Rick Astley CD .....
rd
Quoted from iceman44:No it will be more Roger Creager and Pat Green tomorrow night and maybe some George Strait, "Cold beer conversation"
I had to google those names to see what sort of music they were. Yeehawwww!
Quoted from iceman44:Are you watching this Olympic rugby right now on TV? If so, is it Co-ed? I can't tell if some of these players are male or female?
These are some rough ladies.
In about twenty minutes you can get a taste of the famous "trans-Tasman rivalry" when NZ takes on Australia in the gold medal game.
I think some of those ladies would flatten most the dudes on this forum. Pretty easily. Lol
rd
Quoted from c508:@rotordave do you think the American men's team has a chance to medal
For sure. Ever since they announced that Rugby 7s was in the Olympics, the USA has been pouring heaps of money into Rugby. They have guys in their team that can do 10 second 100m sprints.
Quoted from Manic:be fair I only watched a couple minutes but now I'm intrigued
Interesting to watch a sport where players play more than 2 minutes at a time, eh...
rd
Quoted from flashinstinct:If you lift the playfield if should be on the edge right beside the ball through
You mean the "ball trow?" That's what the cool kids call them these days.
rd
Quoted from jeffsarcade:Vid mentioned in the other thread that his GBLE inserts were moving... maybe the router that created the holes routed them a tad too big?
Good glue would hold them in place. If the inserts are moving, it's a glue issue.
If the clear coat is just pulling free, it's a clear coat issue.
rd
Quoted from clg:Before you do it Panzer let it go. This is not a JJP thread it is a stern PF thread. Please don't turn this into jjp vs stern.
It's all about the "toys".
rd
Quoted from Msch:You guys know this is a troll, right? Has ANYONE bought a machine off kanada..I mean J?
Last time I saw Kaneda, he didn't look like this guy. It's legit.
rd
Quoted from kpg:Trent said Stern is undergoing a review process of my playfield, and if approved for replacement, they will send me an empty box that I send my playfield back to them where they swap all components to a new playfield and then send it back.
This is always the way it has been done in the past.
You'll have an empty cabinet for a month.
Just do it, you'll get a new PF and all will be well. Eventually.
rd
Quoted from Mitch:You clearly have reading comprehension issues
It's clear to me that a lot of people do. Or intelligence issues.
Read the posts from KPGs original post on the $5000 deposit. Note that word. Deposit.
If you have some patience, don't pay the $5000 and they ship you an empty box and in a few weeks you have a new PF back. Sounds fair to me.
Who gives a toss if you can't play your new "toy" for a few weeks? Whaaaah. Play one of your other toys.
Big picture is you get a new PF, problem is sorted, and life goes on.
rd
Quoted from RipleYYY:yep, but doesnt work for those having "only" 1 pinball home (my case)...
That's a bummer. And it will take longer than a month too. Maybe they will ship some new playfields all together. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the overseas customers.
rd
Quoted from o-din:Point I'm making is if anybody is expecting a public statement from Stern acknowledging this problem, I wouldn't hold my breath. It's not the way pinball manufacturing companies usually operate. Or any other commercial or industrial company.
It won't happen ever, because in the USAs litigious environment, it'll be 10 minutes before someone files a class action lawsuit and breaks the company.
They're quietly handling it on a case by case basis hoping like hell that not too many people complain. And the reality is, many customers aren't even going to notice a tiny bit of ghosting unless someone tells them to look for it.
And their traditional customer base (operators) don't care as long as the machine is taking in bucks on site.
rd
Quoted from Kiwipinhead:You need to stop playing that GB at BK RD.
I was told its earning very well
I played it today. Put in my $2, got 3 free games.
Not a good earner when I'm there lol
Jeeeeeeesus that game makes me angry though. F**king drain fest!!!
rd
Quoted from Drenden:So basically the only person making playfields that are worth a damn right now is Mirco?
No, I have an Mirco AFM repro playfield that has ghosting on the inserts too.
We are all doooooomed. Doooomed I say!
rd
Quoted from golfingdad1:Not fair , that's just a small wing of your collection.
True. I only took pictures of the ones without tools and parts sitting on top of them.
The game that's getting the most play at present is a 1971 Bally Time Zone. The two player version of Space Time. Brutal!
