PinMonk maybe Stern will offer alternate translites, one for each/or selection of Connery movies.. collectors would probably end up buying them all, more $$ for Stern. Not unlike with Tron (3D, Clu, girls)

^^This^^ The hobby is still supporting those prices, for Stern products anyway. No doubt the theme/license helped.

Seriously though, some Stern designer or engineer created a prototype and came up with a presentation of a wiggling rocket.. Stern board members said "Oh yeah, that's the concept right there, let's mass produce this ..!" I just can't get this toy/mech wasn't given any second thought when those guys sat there. That nobody said "wait, don't you feel it's silly and remind you of a..."
