Quoted from Clytor:I just picked up the double 10” version of this. I hadn’t seen it that way before.

Nice find! I looked for the 10" for a while but never could find it for a not crazy price. Finally caved and bought the repress. Sadly like most of the other Radiohead pressings, it isn't the best, but better than nothing.

Yeah, decent shape for $20. They had two copies of Kid A and one copy of Amnesiac on 10". Amnesiac was $46 though. I left that one...maybe should have scooped?

I have both the 10" from college and the modern KidAmnesiac pressing. (also got that In Rainbows box, fwiw) I should do some back to back listenings to compare. Almost sold the 10" because I'm that kinda of person and can't stand the aberrant size. (reminds me of those Warner Bros DVD cases)

Yeah I get that. I kind of like the novelty of it a bit. I only own one 10" though. It is kind of a pain to store along with the rest of the albums I will admit.
New shipment from Japan arrived.
KISS The Orginals. 1976 Japan press
Includes the first 3 albums.
3 LP with Cap Obi, 2 booklets, Japanese insert, postcard... but not the sticker !

Nice! Is this a new pressing? Check the scribe…curious if it’s the version I cut.
Quoted from Fulltilt:Such a great album.

The band is so tight…love this record. It will always remind me of listening to music with my dad…great memories!

I remember seeing these for sale at ‘Hot Topic’ in the mall around the year 2000 when vinyl was not as common and CD’s were king…also curious to hear it…is it 45 or 33rpm?

Same. Never much for Kiss but that package is the nut.

It's a 2016 pressing according to my Discogs. Lacquer Cut By – CB*
Saw these guys with Highly Suspect. Going there I thought i would like Highly Suspect better but Dead Poet Society killed it.

One of my favorite live albums. I have the original US pressing I bought as a teenager and played to death. Enjoy.
Here's a heads up.. my friend bought the new RATT box set, it's a really nice package containing the first 5 albums.
Worth it if you don't already have most of them.
Quoted from gonzo73:Welcome to the party.
Nice SX-737.
You're going to have to take a better picture of the record...
Led Zeppelin Bootleg ??
Thank you!

Meant to give a heads up on this a couple months ago... better late than never..
KILLING JOKE, Hosannas from the Basements of Hell. 2Lp, Gatefold 2022 reissue.
This is the first Reissue of the KJ 2006 Masterpiece, OG pressings are pricey... of course.
There are multiple color versions of this new press, I got black.
Hosannas was the last album Paul Raven recorded before his passing in 2007.
The original 1979 line up would soon reform, and are still Killing it to this day, a new album should be upcoming soon.

Agreed. 737 looks rad.
Question...
Did any of you order the new Rhino Audiophile pressing of The Cars debut ?
I hear all 5K sold out.
I've only heard one review so far... and it was positive.
What do you think if you got one.
I passed on it, as I've got a decent OG U.S. pressing, and I picked up the Mofi press several years ago.

I picked it up. Listened to it again last night, as a mater of fact. I have an OG pressing as well as a couple of reissues but not the MoFi so I can’t compare it to another audiophile source but I will say that it sounds very good. The original mix was somewhat compressed which is part of its appeal. This reissue does away with some of that so it hits a bit different. Lots of things are brought to the forefront that I just don’t hear on the original. Kevin Gray does not disappoint.
Kind of a shame that it is sold out. Other than to generate fomo, I can’t see why they went to all the trouble to remaster this and then limit its production. Feels like they left some money on the table. I am hopeful that they will reissue some more of the cars catalog this way. Rumor is that Black Sabbath is in the queue, as well.
On a side note, Rhino’s shipping packaging is the absolute worst. Lots of complaints from people receiving them with damage and mine arrived with a minor corner ding. Not the end of the world but I expect more effort when I am shelling out just north of $50 with tax and shipping charges.

Yep, apparently Rhino has heard the Hate on the Cheap Shipping box and are going to upgrade next round... but they should have done better for a premium price record.
Don't bother with the MOFI copy, it's not great.. my OG 1978 copy is better.
Sounds like what they did with the Animals remix spreading out the soundstage and bringing foreword the instruments.
They should have pressed 10K not only 5K.
