what i can say?it's the best and more complicated machine ever made!I've disassemble one to clear all the parts (included the screws) and i've seen the complexity of all toys and playfield..I prefer more fast pin but this is a one must have-machine..bu0y it and you enjoy it!

I had to change my rating of this after owning it for a while. The game is fun, but it is a mechanical nightmare. The clock just plain doesn't work well as it was poorly designed from the get go. Losing balls out the left outlane due to no fault of the player's is really upsetting as well. Still a very good game, but the sound quality and unfair play and clunkiness caused me to lower it a bit. Great game, but has its problems.

This is by far my favorite pinball machine of all time. It's so deep and solid that I can play it over and over and never get sick of the game. The shots are challenging but fair, the modes are tons of fun, the toys are great, and the gameplay flow is just perfect. I believe that this game belongs in every serious collector's collection.

When I bought it I said "for the hight price that I paid,it's very ordinary"2 weeks after,I discovered the Twilight zone machine
That's the better game in the market:beautiful,strategic,lot of magnets,lot of modes,powerball,very nice final,no dmd game.It's not a game that you have to pull a bottom to have 6 balls,you have to work for this.If you have to buy only one game,don't make a mistake go for the numéro uno Twilight zone
UP DATE 2014-01-26 :I own TZ about 7 year and after playing other game like AC/DC,WOZ,Tron I have to say TZ was very good game few year past but now with the technology of the software this game is not on my top 10

Theme,sounds and art package are awesome but i find theres alot better playing mode based games out there than TZ.
Im not a big fan of the layout with the pop bumpers to the left it feels like theres no shots on that side of playfield and creates a cramped squeezed feeling in middle playfield. (much the same as CFTBL)
Still think more time is needed on it and probably at home would be best but when i go to mates house's that have it i just never seem to interested to hit the start button??

the best pin i have played. the are just so many things to keep you occupied - magnets, magnet flippers, powerball, 4 flippers, 6 ball multiball etc etc. Only gripe is the sound is very slightly tinny compared to the DCS games. Ignore the Tiltkings comments below - it seems weird he rates batman forever and flintstones as 9.5 but TZ a 5.7? He must be playing a pop-eye with stickers that say twilight zone on the cabinet.

Played this at the Pinball Hall of Fame; some nice toys and a very deep ruleset. Could play it for a while actually, although i think some other games are more deserving of the no.1 spot in the top 100. Not 24 though either! :) (sorry if I offended any fans but I do not like the 24 pin).

It is easy to see why Twilight Zone in in the top 5 of all pinball list. Play a well maintained machine and you will be hooked. TZ is a complex machine and takes time to learn the shots. Give yourself 5 to 10 plays and you will become a TZ addict.

Found a TZ and snapped it up, never played it before, or even seen one close up but it was No1. I know I shouldn't jump on the hype bandwagon but all the all the reviews were pushing me.. The reviews were right, it doesn't disappoint. playfield is perfect, no wear, bit of trouble with the magnets, (missing fuse). Have only had it 3 days and I love it! The theme is great, layout and playfield toys fantastic. Haven't got a lot of playing time in, but Im on holiday soon so will get some major pin time. More detailed review coming soon.

This is my favorite of all time. To begin with, the backglass art is amazing. I used to play one with the owner of mini- golf course where game was . Between us, we had all the high scores. When we played each other, you always had time to kill....that art is endless. The next genius aspect of game is the ceramic powerball. I have not played game lately, but I will be very soon. Mine is being shipped here from Canada. I may have to add to this soon....How can anyone honestly rate TZ a 4 plus?

I'm not sure that everyone would find it would be their top game, but it is mostly deserving of it's status.
There's a lot to take in, and the game play for novices can be quite difficult, and sometimes even frustrating.
For the well hardened players out there of course, (that's not me), that's just why they like it. It challenges them and keeps them coming back.
If your just starting out, don't think though, that this is the only game to have, you may get more enjoyment from more affordable games.
It is though, a great bit of kit.

I own this machine and it is by far my most favorite in my collection. When you get lost in the zone it's tough to find your way out.
