This is the first of my starting pair of machines. This really is a great game. The massive number of features make this game stand out, but I think the lights, sound a music give this machine its redeeming qualities. The increased music and light tempo during a good game must have gotten even the most depressed barfly's attention when these games were on location. Some of the features don't do what they should 100% of the time, but there's a massive aftermarket if that's a problem for you. I have to say, most of the shots aren't terribly tough and the outlane and center drains are huge to make up for it. Maybe I'll be more critical with time, but I have a hard time dinging this game.

Great game, but a little over-rated. I cannot fathom how this is/was IPDB #1. Many modes, many rules and many features. Lots to do. The playfield is very cluttered but looks fantastic. Don't bother to play this unless you can devote a decent amount of games on it. To really appreciate this game, you either need a bankroll of quarters or have it on free play. Don't expect to master it straight away. Be persistent. Explore the rules. It is a shame it did not come with DCS... that is the only drawback in terms of presentation. It fetches a high price these days... not recommended for a beginner or as a first machine.

it's nice to have a neighbor that owns most of the top ten machines so that I can rate them off of lots of play and not biais because I may own it. With that in mind, I still don't get it. Very deep play set (I think) it's just hard to figure out. Fun to play if your not in the mind set to go through all of the challenges. Great graphics.

Personal conundrum...this is my all time favorite game but as a home game I tire of it quickly.

Yeah, I don't understand me, either...

Just does not get old. I played this almost 20 years ago and now own one as of this year. I sure hope another game will someday rival this one. Hopefully, Tron will be a contender. The back panel and clock are my only complaints that keep this from a 10.

Twilight Zone is a great game, with very unique Pat Lawlor layout. It's challenging, and the shots can be difficult, but there's just always something to do. The rules are more fleshed out than Addams Family, but with the same feel of trying to complete the door. It has some incredible mechs like the power playfield, the power ball, the clock, and the gumball machine. Not to mention extra magnets in the orbits, a subway, and a flipdown mech to stage the ball for shots into the piano. There probably is no game more loaded with mechanical features than this game. The sound and music are excellent, and the art is fantastic too. All in all a great game, and certainly the apex of crazy features in a single game.

Had to purchase Twilight Zone to enjoy playing it. Meaning for whatever reason just walking up and playing in the wild I never took the time to understand it. Boy getting it home and figuring it out has me playing it again and again.

When random clips of other pinball music and themes start playing in this game, I know i am in the Twilight Zone. So many great features and a real challenge to play. You can't go wrong with the Powerball.

I wasn't satisfied with my pin collection until I accomplished obtaining this classic and 'ultimate' game. I have only had it a month. I love the concept and grew up watcing all the epsodes of Twilight Zone in black and white on TV. The fun of owning this game is discovering all the 'secrets' it holds. It should take a long, long time for the game to reveal all of its intricate hidden surprises. I am looking forward to getting 'Lost in the Zone'!!!

When I first played this game on route I wasn't that impressed. Looking back it was probably because I had no idea what was going on and I really didnt care for widebody games that much. Today after spending alot of time on it over the last several years it is easily one of my favorites. Very unique game with a good theme and great sound. Tons of things to do to keep you entertained and very addicting.

A classic machine that does a fine job of representing the mystique of the actual series. If you're a fan of the series or movie, this one's for you.

Artwork is good. Flow would be good if the software didn't stop the ball so much. Sounds are cool. I like it just because there is so much to shoot.

Twilight Zone is one of my favorite pins, I have eight others. It's most attractive capability is its variation. Every time you play, the challenges turn to be varied keeping your attention at all times. You can play and play this pin and will never become bored. The many challenges to meet are all well choreographed and orchestrated. The sounds and lights are very good and provide a guiding flavor for the challenge you are about to meet. Initially, I was a bit concerned about its over-zised cabinet, but it is not really that much bigger than the standard pins, yet, because of its size, the pin was capable of accepting more and better toys. In all Twilight Zone is a very good pin that will provide you hours of entertainment.

excellent design. I sold and looking for another. Not a family loved pin but one of my top 2. With the advent of pin modifications , this pin can be increased in value with and desirability. Still can be found at a decent price and condition. Repurchased a great example. After all the years and pins, I know truly understand why it is so great

First widebody I have played that didn't feel noticeably bigger, like it was meant to be this size all along.

Bit too dark at the top of the playfield though and the left drain from the pop bumpers is infuriating. Easily one of the top 5 pins ever made though.
