Open playfield, awesome saucer toy, decent flow. Hilarious voices and sound effects. A classic in modern pinball. Somewhat similar to Brian Eddy's Medieval Madness...

I don't get it. It's fun but it revolves around the center shot. The dancing Martians are cool and not so easy to get. I just couldn't get into it. I played it a different locations and still can't seem to get into it.

I love this game. Fan layout, simple toys, easy ruleset, but the whole is way greater than the sum of the parts. AFM is the poster child for "less is more".

Humor and creativity in sounds and dots are more important than current pinball makers seem to realize. An outrageously clever game with solid theme integration outpaces a cool toy or deep ruleset any day. AFM is - and should be - an all time classic because it is just flat out entertaining and a blast too play.

If I could have only one game, this might be it--my only concern is I might tire of it. That being said, if there is one game they should have made 10,000 of, it's this one. Fun, fast, easy to understand, great theme, sound effects and music. Destroying the saucer (with the resultant sound effects) is just too much fun! I almost fall over laughing every time the Martians "Attack!" Too bad this game has become so out of reach----oh well...at least now the remake is available.

Recently played this, and it is definitely fun and humorous. The scoring seems excessive, into the billions. Could also do without the autoplunger button. However, overall what a blast and well-designed game, deserves its high rating.

Very nice game, fast as T2 ... great theme and "round to play". For me the same problem like MB ... after several weeks it becomes a little boring. However .. I you would like to have a small collection of expensive pins with fun, good sound and fast play: MM, AFM, MB.
There must be a reason that this 3 pins cost more and more, year to year. From the gameplay there is only one king of the realm: MM.

Great theme, lots of fun to explore and play. Wide-open midfield similar to MM -- with a similar center target positioned to create center drain potential. Overall, the game balances challenge level with humor -- brings players back for more.

Playfield layout is typical fan, but works well in this game. Great integrated and fun theme. Not the deepest ruleset, but challenging to make it to rule the universe. In many respects, this game, along with TAF, TZ and a few others created the framework for the rule-sets of most modern games. Make sure you play one with a working strobe as strobe multiball is quite a show., especially in a dark room.

Fun game but I will never understand why this one is so highly rated. Fun theme and great sounds but the playfield is too open for my taste.

Played already many different pinballs, but AFM is the most fun to play for me. Really fast with a good flow, but also challenging. Many different multiballs and very nice sounds. Better than MM in my opinion.

What can you say....one of the best. Love the middle saucer shot. Lots of hard flipper action. Great animations and perfect theme. #1 on my wish list. Anyone trade one for a gorgeous Scared Stiff??

I like this game, but not as much as MM, TAF or TZ. I'm not a huge fan of alien themed things, so that plays into it for sure. I think it's a great game, and I love the shaking aliens, but to me it feels more like a $3000 game than a 6K+.

Never get tired of destroying the mother ship. Saw Strobe mode the other day and it was pretty cool. The board isn't the most amazing, but most of the time you don't have a chance to look at it anyway. Great call outs and some nice animations.

Well deserved top ten spot here. Brian Eddy did a great job on designing a simplistic pf setup with flow and some fun shots. Software brings this game into the realm of greatness.
