Prefect game. Can be quick and fun with great shots all around. Trying to achieve all the games modes and attacking mars is awesome. Strobe multiball is totally awesome!

What a fantastic game that makes your addicted - You want to "rule the universe & get re-elected!" again and again. It is one of the best machines if you want to have action - it is pure fighting against the "green stinking ugly Martians.
If you have a chance to play it - do it and you will get addicted too!

Defiantly in my top 5. I WILL OWN ONE SOME DAY ! ! !

Recently heard a rumor that this may be the next game to be have a remake….
If so can't wait to do a side by side comparison with the original AFM to the AFM Remake.

I just compared an original MM side by side to the remake and was blown away by the remake.
( So much so I ordered the MM LE Remake the same day.)

I was able to play one of these in person while on vacation, and until then have only played it on virtual pinball. I love this game, definitely interested to see if a remake is on the way or not and what the market does.

Great theme integration, fun layout and bashing the saucer is always fun. Fantastic call outs and humor make this a pleasure.

This is one of the easiest tables that I think I've ever played, and it is also a very fun one. The idea here is that you want to blow up martians' spaceships that are in specific countries. Once you blow up spaceships in six (or is it five...?) different locations around the globe, you then attempt to destroy Mars to essentially win the game. Of course, the game doesn't end there, as you can keep playing so long as you have balls. The main story of this table is very simple to follow, and the layout of the table is also very amateur friendly, with ramps and loops all over, and with an easy-to-shoot UFO in the middle of the table. There is also a UFO shooting minigame that you play on a screen: this is the most difficult part about this table for me by quite a margin. There's a Wizard Goal for winning this game on Pinball Arcade, but I've yet to have gotten close. All-in-all, Attack from Mars is a table accessible to beginners, but likely still an attractive one to seasoned pinballers, and one that has very nice sound and some pretty funny lines (mostly stereotypes) as well.

AFM has staying power. The shots are clear, the artwork is beautiful, and the call outs are fun. Pinholics, and casual players keep coming back for more. I can not say anything negative about the game other than current market pricing.

Attack from Mars is a fan favorite, but I think it's a greedy drain monster most of the time. Sure, shooting the Flying Saucer toy up the middle require skill to pull off, but the frequency of SDTMs is too high for this game to be any fun.

Also, there is a kickout hole on the right that eat the ball at the worst times - my shots seem to land in there too many times in a row to maintain good flow. (RFM unfortunately inherited this feature too).

The theme is great and I like the music and call-outs - but the game usually just sends me looking for a vindicating pinball experience.

UPDATE: After extensive on-location play, I do see why this game is loved by so many. *When* I can develop a good groove on a great game, I do enjoy the game play. I notched the game play up one, but not much else.

Not so much toys, play field is very open.
But I don't know why... It makes so much fun to play this game.

A shallow game, but a fun game to play. I do wish more time was put into the look of the game. Art on the playfield and cabinet could be better. The game play comes across over the top, but it works perfectly. I believe it is what makes the game so fun to play. A game I would love to own, but not at what it currently costs. In my mind, Star Trek Next Generation gives you twice the game for half the cost.

My main game growing up. Had one near me and loved it. Medieval Madness with aliens is the way it feels to me.

Awesome machine that needs to be shopped 100% to appreciate it's game play. Once you understand the rules and the ability to stack multiple modes it becomes a blast. The current price tag reflects upon how truly great this pinball is, true keeper for any collector.

I really love this machine!! It brings so many fun memories of the arcade I was almost living in back in the Netherlands.

The game play, the open field, the mother ship and the dancing martians are really well designed.
Attack from Mars brings the beginner and the advanced pinhead together.

The only downside I can think of is the repetitive music, wished they added some more.

I currently own it and it always gives me a smile when I play it.

Everything from the flying saucer to the animations and voice acting make this game an incredibly tightly themed game. The only thing that is less than amazing is the music. It's just not memorable besides that opening 5 notes that seem to repeat over and over. This game can be ludicrously fast, and I like to play it that way. The center shot always makes me tense up, hoping that it doesn't get a bad bounce and then drain down the middle before I can react. Strobe multiball is just goofy in a dimly lit room.

One of the best tables as can seen by it's stable high position on the boards around the 'Net, and also the price a good machine can fetch on the open market. I love it because I once got a higher score on it than Josh Sharpe in tournament play. What happened next is that I didn't qualify and he took first prize. But hey, it was fun while it lasted! Great flow and on a well maintained machine absurd high paced action is what defines this table for me. This is pinball on steroids and very difficult to play in a controlled way. If you master flow playing, then you're in for a treat! The theme is fun albeit a bit goofy for my taste but they thoroughly ran with it. Great themebased video mode for which I practiced years before without knowing it (based on an Apple II game). The flow comes from an open playfield with orbits and ramps that quickly feed back the ball to the flippers. It's ruleset is not deep but getting to the end game is no joke. I don't know if this will last for a home game, if you master it too quickly, it will get a bit boring. But I always love to meet this table in tournaments, like an old friend without the likes the party would be not complete.
