Quoted from djreddog:

FYI - if anyone uses Night Moves in a tournament, one of the members of the Delaware Pinball Collective wrote a custom tournament ROM to remove the random awards earned by going down the inlanes/outlanes.

Where can we find this? I heard there was also a rewrite for Caribbean cruise as well? I just finished a complete restoration on mine, and am now doing the cabinet for the night moves.

We got ourselves a nice 70* day in Ohio yesterday.
So I made the best of the day and did some cab work. Turned out pretty good. Tonight is cleanup and reassembly. I have a whole games cs u eat worth of cleaning to go. But I already have a freshly restored and assembled playfield ready to drop in.

Looking good! So rewarding giving these games a facelift

I'm looking forward to our weather hitting 70 degrees. That's my perfect temp for spraying paint and clear coat. Just 2-3 months away.

Nice black paint! You got me thinking of replacing my veneer with a more modern gray wood veneer.

I got a little further into getting this thing to one piece. The ground wires are all dropped in, and most of the hardware. Got me to the point of cleaning up the gross transformer assembly.

Made some progress on assembly and some painting. Cleaned up the power supply. Just waiting for the paint to dry. Same with the transformer.

All set for the 2024 Texas Pinball Festival! This year I brought my 1989 Night Moves by Gottlieb and my 1932 Goofy by Bally. I learned a couple of years ago that if I didn't bring a cocktail pinball machine, no one else would. Goofy is over in the History of Pinball exhibit, and Night Moves is somewhere in the convention area. Come check them out at TPF '24!

Seems all chimes in one of my Foxy ladies have been replaced with pieces of wood.
The other machine is empty, no boards and no chimes.

Are there any chimes I can use instead - i.e. just the metal parts?
Or would someone be kind enough to measure the dimensions (width x length x depth) so I could make my own?

Now I kinda want to convert all my chimes to marimbas.

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

6 years later after picking up my 2nd game ever, I finally snagged it’s sister game, Caribbean Cruise, locally. It was only a half hour from my house!
Boarding my cruise soon, just need a deep clean! Only 2 owners, 2nd owner bought it from his boss back in 1999 for a Y2K party, and told me some awesome stories about getting raided and storing coke in the machine. Turns out he was great friends with my dad and when he was getting booked, he heard from a cell, “HEY MIKEY! You let me know if you need anything” and it was my fuckin dad in county. LMAO, he was the guy. “Your father was like The Fonz. He decided who was ‘cool’ and who was a nerd”
Awesome experience. Always wanted this game, and it was cool that this guy knew my dad from way back and had tons of crazy stories of the shit they used to pull. His passing is the whole reason that got me into pinball.
Having this line up, feels like it’s his way of telling me I’m doing alright.

I just redesigned the flipper pawl for Allied leisure and Fascinations cocktail pins like Roy Clark, Circa 1933, Take Five, Disco 79, Hearts Spades, Star Shooter. They look like they would work on ALI Getaway (but needs 3 pieces instead of 2) and not sure if they would work on Boogie, Dyno-mite and Rock-on.

The original designs have a narrow part where the connecting rod breaks off (see pics of the white original pieces) .
I redesigned the part to be stronger than the original. The thin part that breaks has been increased in thickness by 400% and the plastic dowel that would present a weak spot for a 3D print has been replaced with an aluminum rod for maximum strength. The original design was made so that the same part could fit on the left or right side. I was able to improve the design by making the parts specific to the right and left sides.

Printed in ABS plastic. Have an ad listed on pinside and on ebay.
