That's funny Quench I wanted to post a pic of those fuse holders for this yesterday but had already moved all my images off my phone, which is all I had access to at the time.

OP, consider replacing the fuse holders on your machine as one of mine, which was original, had broken.
Try digi-key for breakers.

Hawk, see if these pics help illustrate what I think Quench is saying...
There is a small tab on the top of the contact, slight pressure on the tab while pulling GENTLY on the wire should remove the contact from the housing.

I tried using a good bulb to be sure it wasn't just a burnt lamp.
If it is not a broken solder joint i.e. you have continuity from the plug (J2-8) to the lamp, most likely it is Q23, resistors very rarely fail.
