The playfield looks so barren

My wife is a huge fan of the Guardians of the Galaxy films. So much so that she wanted to get the LE before the reveal and she is not one to get excited about pins. Not so much after the reveal:

1. Groot is a supporting character that dies at the end of the first movie - yet he is featured huge on the playfield, LE/Prem back glass/cabinet, giant arms even on the prem/LE playfield. It seems like making a SW game focused around Chewbacca. Groot gets more attention on this game than Gene Simmons got on Kiss.

2. My wife is a huge Chris Pratt fan, and he plays the main character (Star lord / Peter Quinn). His likeness doesn't appear at all on the LE backglass (he is small and behind his Starlord mask). I thought at first maybe the license didn't allow his likeness but he is small on the playfield and on the cabinet art. His face appears on the prem and he is much more prominently on the pro trans light and cabinet art which she actually likes the best.

My wife doesn't care much about game play so now she is wanting the pro for the art while I make the argument for prem with swapping out the trans light with the pro version.

Yes, but in a few weeks GotG will be in buyer's homes... how long do you have to wait to actually receive your JJP game?

Gexchange posted some links to high res pics on dropbox earlier in the thread. The armor maybe the same color powder coat but that is where the similarity with WWE LE ends. Based on what is released so far I it appears to be a gold colored powder coat (like MMR LE) rather than gold plating.

I well known pinball podcaster just sent me evidence that these side rails were left over from an early prototype WWE LE machine:

As an LE buyer on this title (I really didn't have a choice as my wife is really excited about this theme and wanted the LE because it is the only model that has baby Groot on the cabinet), I'm a bit disappointed the laser cut side rails aren't included. I know many complained that SW LE didn't include a shaker but it did include laser cut side rails. My feeling is LEs should include both but if Stern is only willing to include one I would prefer to be the laser cut side rails. If GotG LE buyers want the laser cut ones we basically have to buy side rails twice - once with the inflated cost of the LE and again with the after market laser cut rails. At least with the shaker motor we only had to buy it once and aftermarket versions were available at a discount.

That is only the the half of it. She prefers the Chris Pratt rendering on the pro trans light (he is small and wearing a mask on the LE version) so we are buying a pro trans light to put in it. I'm sure Stern loves us.

Are you married? If I could get away with that I would.

13 years for us. We own 14 games and most of them my wife couldn't care one way or the other about. She is really excited about this one, so I want it to be just the way she wants it. If the cost was a big issue for us, I'm sure she wouldn't be asking for this.

Yes SW LE came with all 3 trans lights. I actually asked my distributor and they aren't doing this with GotG LE. I was also appears it is a real back glass, so to display the pro trans light I will also need to get sheet of glass and the channels to hold the trans light.

That was a pretty annoying clip in BM66, fortunately it was fixed in the May code update.

My distributor asked for payment in full on Friday Dec 8th and said in that email that he expected it to ship in 10 days which would take us to early next week.

Never gotten it stuck there on mine. Looked and my bar seems to be much higher than yours. I would contact your distributor and see what they suggest.
