Another Italian bottom is predictable but a bummer nonetheless.

So far a lot looks like MET is the base game for this design.

- Double inlane on the left
- Fuel/Piston lane on the left w/ small target bank outside.
- Single right inlane.
- CIU scoop seems to be relatively in the same spot.
- Right ramp seems to be in the same spot.

From there, what changes (snake replaced by inlane drops???) is anyone's guess.

What's wrong, jgentry? Sorry, but Groot was a much better character in the first movie....hopefully this game ignores GOTG 2, because Baby Groot was nothing more than a moronic butt of all the jokes. At ANY rate, Groot was easily the worst part of both movies. Would rather see physical Drax, Gamora, Starlord figures than a giant stupid tree head.

Magnets is great. Been way too long since Stern has used magnets without cores or plates over them.... here's hoping.

*Edit* Hell, I'd even take Yondu over Groot.

Artwork looks cool but it's hard for me to get excited about a new Stern game. Batman 66 is still on pre 1.0 code after a year. KISS isn't finished, Ghostbusters is waiting on a final code update and Star Wars isn't finished.

A pin can look incredible and have cool features but none of that matters if the code isn't deep, unique and polished.

It looks pretty cool! Well, it looks pretty. We can't see much more than that, haha. But I am definitely excited to see more!

Nice little teaser video. That's a much better way to begin a reveal than most of the games in the past. I like what Zach is doing marketing wise.

I can't help but be excited. I'm guessing that IAAP will be the first look at a fully populated game, but it would be great to see something sooner.

Well, I guess turnabout is fair play then. I said on the other thread BEFORE pictures were posted that the one thing I didn't want to see was a big Groot head, and there it is...so whatever.

With modes called Antiquities Shop & Pod Chase, and Ronan on the playfield, I'd bet that it's just based on the first movie. That's an adult Groot head, not Baby Groot too. They made a point not to show the Groot head's mouth, so I'm guessing he probably eats balls like Rudy. Hard to tell how big the head is tho, might be smaller sized like MET snake. I think I'd prefer that.

Need to see a populated pf and some video to realistically form an opionion. I guess it is cool to have a non-offensive theme to me. While I dont really care much about theme it is nice to see 2 non-music pins in a row!

Can Stern just TRY to make the playfield art a little more appealing, all their new games look the same.

I refuse to be hyped about any Stern game until first wave of owners have the game for at least a couple months. It's just common sense now, if you're an early adopter then bless you for taking one for the team.

But, that said, art looks sick. I'm legit impressed by what I've seen so far, not really a surprise the characters look good given who's drawing them (and we knew/hoped it would be hand drawn, but still nice to see) but the other details, like getting the inserts right, the colors, the graphic styling etc, all on point.

Looking forward to seeing the full game.

I hope Stern got the license, if possible, to use the actors voices from the films. I believe that Avengers, another Marvel / Disney license, didn't feature any of the original actors voices...Hopefully that's not the case with this one.

Can't tell much yet but I do think the Rocket and Groot sculpts look very detailed. Looking forward to the full reveal in a few days. I think this game has a chance to do really well for stern.

Stop being a baby. You call me out for down voting you then you have to make sure that you get one back. Make sure to follow everyone else that's going to down vote your post around down voting them too. Wouldn't want them to feel left out.

Yeah...I don't really care about the *function*...as long as it's not just another bash toy with a magnet in front of it, anyways. Groot was a throw-away character inserted for comedic effect. The only time he actually did something important, he 'died'. I don't personally care to see Baby Groot *anywhere*, so here's hoping that GOTG2 isn't in there, because I'm sure if it is, clips of it will be all over the bloody place. Whatever...Stern's gonna do what will make them money, so they're obviously tapping into the fact that most people did like the character....probably because they can relate with being dumber than a sack of hammers and one-dimensional. I just don't get at all why Marvel decided to treat the character that way.
