I will say this. I loved my DI Standard and regret trading it away, but concerns over the loss of $$ value on a game you buy really confuse me. This is one of the best hobbies i’ve seen for return on investment (st least as of late, wasn’t around for hobby crashes of the past). Losing less than 10% of the item’s original value is amazing, especially how these machines get used.

Buying DI was my way to set a budget for my collection, and since having bought and sold half a dozen games with just that initial investment in DI. Now, both the wife and I are interested in the hobby, so we can invest a little more $ into it, and therefore another JJP game.

I’m in for a Wonka a Standard and can’t wait for both this game, and if/when we see Toy story in the future because that is absolutely a wonderful theme, style and great fit for a JJP pin.

I know two location near Philly will be getting them, but i don't know if they will get them right away. We'll see. I am 10th in line for a standard with my distributor, so really hoping to get one of the first batch. We will see.

Thoughts - Willy Wonka Standard - Day 1 running 1.07 code.

Flow for shots to the ramps is silky smooth, while upper playfield flippers will take some getting used to, but lead to some of the most rewarding shots on games. Most notably is the left upper flipper shot into the upper right spinner.

Light show, callouts and modes/shots are very diverse and numerous. I heard 6 to 8 different callouts when starting a ball, a bunch of and parents lines that led to some chuckles and smiles.

The best thing about the game is the way it shoots, then the way it presents itself during play, and I would at its weakness might only be its narrative. You sometimes are not aware of a multiplier or hurry up that is active cuz there is so much going on.

All and all happy and struggled to stop playing. I generally don’t play anything for more than an hour or so, and put 4+ hours on the game yesterday.

10/10 from me and everything I was hoping for in the game + more.

My favorite mode right now is Oompa Loompa Mania. Amazing light show and is the Oompa Loompa song playing. Lights are all red and green. So neat

I'll take a look. Didn't notice any issues at initial glance but wasn't looking for anything that specific.

Looks like I do have this , basically almost exactly the same as pictured, but only on the right lower star post, left is fine, but yeah, looks like it is still happening. Don’t know how often.
